I've been coming here periodically for a number of years, if I ate out more often I'd probably come more. Although over the years there have some staff that were a let down, my past two visits have been stellar. Highlighting those visits is "Ty", a line server who lights up the whole place with his awesome attitude, friendliness, commitment to customer satisfaction.The first time he served me, some months ago, he recommended an item, saying he made it himself and knows it was good, and it of course it was. This last visit he amazingly remembered me, and I asked for his recommendation --in fun-- and he said he made everything, so it's all good! And that seems to be the case, between great eats, staff all with good vibes, and competitive prices, I'm recommitted to Willy's.
Come in at least once a week and have never been disappointed. Always come in to Ty and Charlotte smiling brighter than the sun, providing unparalleled service compared to other Willy’s. They’re truly wonderful people who will whip up the juiciest burrito you can get in Athens! Will be back next week!
Willy's is better than any other southwestern style food joint. The food is ALWAYS delicious and clean. I have eaten at "fine dining " establishments and received less amicable service. Truett is a fantastic manager and runs a clean staff. As a Real Estate Investment professional I eat on the go often. I highly recommend going in and grabbing lunch or dinner. They'll treat you right.
A great place to eat. The willie Philly is my favorite, but Truett is the worst manager. I called him to place a order and I was told RUDELY to order on the website. In my attempts to order on the website, I found that the website to be out of service. I called the store back and relayed my issue. Following that I asked if I could just place the order through the phone. All he said was “The best way to order, is through our website.”? I ended coming all the way to the store to be served. Either way I had to come to the store to get the food, but expected the hospitality of Willy’s to be much better and more accommodating to an issue that occurred on their behalf.
the workers are the sweetest people i have ever met. not to mention the food is absolutely out of this world. i am ditching moes and chipotle and only going to willys now because seriously no other restaurant can compete.
Food is great. Been a regular for 5 years. As of late it has become apparent the owner has instructed his employees to be stingy on the food, charge extra for items that have always been included and to price gouge. If the owner keeps upping the price while lowering the quantity I'll be headed across the road to chipotle
They had recently been going down in quality it seems. Ordered chicken quesadilla and the guy without asking for toppings quickly cut it. When asked he gave them in cups. I don't know what he means by that. Also reached corporate but never replied back. Never will go as there are many places with similar set up.
This establishment is quickly becoming my new go to being that Moe's is no longer in Athens. The food is always great and the entire staff is even more awesome! I'd like to highlight Jesse and Ty on their top tier customer service, they are always so friendly and welcoming and they really know how to engage with the public. Those qualities are really important to me when I choose to spend my money constantly at a place so it's greatly appreciated.
While the food is very tasty, I bit into a large strip of balled up plastic hiding in the bowl… Pretty gross Willy’s
My husband and I visited this location today at lunch (3/12/2022) and I couldn't believe how friendly the staff was. They went above and beyond to be helpful, make suggestions, and made our order quickly. In a time where customer service seems non existent in the fast food world, this was a pleasant surprise!
