The open 24-7 is a lie. Most nights when I go by there late when I get off work the doors are locked. I went by this evening. Doors locked every table dirty with dishes but instead of doing their jobs every employee was outside smoking cigarettes Getting mad at everyone showing up to come eat. I plan on going by Monday to figure out who runs that lazy night shift.
My daughter and I were in Athens to be close to the hospital. This Waffle House was a wonderful discovery. Kennard, Robin, Nikki, Sean are the best. Great customer service and the food was perfect every time. The entire team provided a friendly atmosphere.
I’m sorry first time going and last time going it was horrible!!! Grits was more watery than thick ! Bacon was nasty and ruff , didn’t change gloves after touching each other and stuff .. only one worker had on hair net , mens didn’t have any mask on I wouldn’t recommend going there !
Went for my daughter's birthday, her choice...she loves waffle house waffles, she was last getting her food, the server was more occupied with the cook and burnt the 1st one, just didn't get the level of service since we were the only table at the time, totally disappointed for my daughter's special day!!
The table was clean before we got there. The waitress sat us in a both. We both got half sweet half unsweetened tea. I ordered the All American breakfast, one waffle, row eggs, hash browns,sausage, and toast. I asked for a lightly crisp waffle and received a very crisp waffle, no matter - let the assembly begin, butter on the waffle, eggs, hashbrown, sausage with a small bit of maple syrup. Turned out wonderfully. Held together better then others, 4 thumbs up. Shout out to Katie are waitress. She works hard.
Wanted some food but it took long to get it. Very good food and prep just takes really long to get it!
HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR THE COOK, THE ENTIRE HOUSE OF WAFFLES WOULD BE COMING DOWN ? ON THESE PEOPLE. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE, STEREOTYPICAL FOR SMALL TOWN TREATMENT OF PEOPLE WHO DO NOT FIT THE MOLD.... FIND NEW FRIENDLY FACES AND PEOPLE WHO ARE MINDFUL THAT ON THE CLOCK THEY REPRESENT THE FACE OF THE COMPANY.... HATE ME ON YOUR OFF TIME ?? ?
The food was good and hot the waitress was very nice food was cooked to my liking good job
I was soaking wet from walking in the rain. They got me a seat turned the heat on and were super friendly. I may have been freezing cold and wet but my heart was warm and happy. It also wasn't even expensive but it tasted amazing. 5/5 would recommend. They also helped me call a taxi when I was about ready to leave which wasn't necessary but they cared enough about me to do that. So grateful!
Well today was Black Friday…. We have been up since five we decided at 9 o’clock that we really wanted some good food so we chose waffle house it was really packed out but my dad went in and found some tables there was a lady with White hair was smoking outside she ran inside and and yelled out my poor old elderly dad.. saying that those tables were on the waiting list but my dad was in there before any of those other people but the Old lady with white hair proceeded to take other peoples names before us she kept yelling at us as we walked out that was the most rudest person I’ve ever met she had no good customer service negative 10 out of 10 do not recommend going to this waffle house ever again
