I’ve eaten at Taco Stands for long time. I admit, there is some nostalgia for me. Nothing fancy about them. Their process hasn’t really changed over the year. They still write out orders and slide them down a line on a close pin to the kitchen. Their meat taste different than other Mexican places because of a different spice and seating blend they use. Which makes them distinctive. Never had anything bad and it tends to be my “go to” when I want fast casual Mexican.
I hadn't been there in a while, the staff was very helpful, and was excellent, maybe a little too much lettuce in the taco salad
It seems like absolutely no one here cares at all about providing any degree of service. I have tried multiple times to eat here and it’s almost like they don’t want to sell any food. The downtown location was never like this before it closed. Extremely poor service. Very bad attitudes.
Taco Stand is still as good as it was 25 years ago! The cheese dip is the best you can from anywhere. I also definitely appreciate the guy enforcing the mask policy!
2nd try for this place. I've been dying to try their tacos. So the 1st time I had a crunchy beef taco. I was disappointed because it was so bland. This time I had their chicken taco salad. This too was bland. But the folks here are very nice and service is great. But I'd rather go to taco bell. Sorry just not tasty.
Mask Policy is ridiculous! Went in to pick up my to-go order and was told I need to have a mask or I had to do curbside. I was fine it with it whatever. I already called in my order ahead of time. When I called again to get my order brought to my car they made it seem like a huge inconvenience for them to come to my car because of a long line. Then when she came to my car questioned me if I had a mask with me, which I did not because I forgot it. But it is okay for people to be eating and sitting without food without a mask on? I asked for my drink to have no ice when I got it it had ice in it. Would not have been that way if I had done it myself. I also asked for a large cheese dip instead they rung up my order wrong and gave me a large guac. Come on do better customer service and listen if you are going to be reverting back to 2020.
Extremely rude employees. Immediately yelled at us to get out since we didn’t have masks. What an ignorant policy. After decades of eating here, I never will again.Truly pathetic.
Food was just as awesome as it has been for the last 30 years!
They were very busy, but they did a great job with our order.
Went to have a quick lunch and unfortunately these folks are still living in April of 2020. You have to have a mask to order food but the table that is 60” away from the order stand is not required to wear the mask. With this non-sensical anti-science rule I can only imagine the ownerships concept of “authentic” Mexican cuisine….pass, you aren’t special and I’ll find someone who wants this individuals money on a regular basis, without the face diaper to order (only)
