Katie was a great bartender! Loved the dive bar feel. As "old folks" in down town Athens, we felt right at home!! We'll be back!
oh holy Mary mother of God this is the best bar in Athens. but beware, if you're causing a scene and being dramatic theyll kick you the hell out. was just there the other day and two idiots were loudly discussing politics until the bartender loudly demanded they cease this activity. and then like typical whiny Athenians they started to plead their case and were shut down again with a little jab about how cheap they tip. LOL I was dying!! great music selection and they let you bring the pizza in from next door! always have the game on and it's nice and cool and dark in the summer
Cheap beer and nice and cold! We enjoyed stopping in.
The beer is cheap and cold, the atmosphere is spectacular and this is the home to some of the finest crochet work in all the land. I make a stop here everytime I pass through town.

Popular locals bar located beside the best pizza in Athens. Cheap drinks, good crowd, and friendly service. Occasional live bands on stage. If you're looking to get away from overpriced college bars and still remain downtown, look no further than The Roadhouse.
