Very convenient location, we eat here pretty regularly. Our last experience was good, but this is a place that is busy all the time. So not surprisingly the experience can vary from good to excellent.Our last experience had both components. Our server, Jasmine was excellent. We use the app to get on the wait list, so our wait was only about 10 minutes.The rolls are fantastic, you can seriously overdo it and not have room for your meal!This is a chain restaurant, and the quality is pretty consistently good.On this visit, we had to ask for more salad dressing for our Caesar salads. They tasted more like lettuce than Caesar salad. But Jasmine quickly brought out more.I would advise you to cut your steaks as soon as you get them to check for the correct temperature. In our party of five, Three of the steaks were not cooked exactly correctly. We sent one back because it was overcooked. Two that were slightly undercooked we knew we were not going to finish them so they were perfect for leftovers when you reheat you can get it to the right temperature! But I would suggest checking upon receiving your steak.That said, the overcooked steak was quickly replaced and and even included a new potato!The overall experience was good and a smiling, helpful server really made a difference.In terms of general observations about the restaurant. This location has a big parking lot but it is almost always full after 6:30 p.m. . You cannot park in the adjacent medical center. I think they will tow you!There is parking available in the shopping center across the road but be careful crossing the road!As I indicated before there's usually a fairly significant wait. But that should tell you that the food is pretty good!This is not a quiet restaurant for a nice romantic dinner or quiet family dinner. It's noisy and hectic. But that is part of the appeal I think.Service is almost always great.If you want a hot steak, this is probably one of the better places in Athens.
Wonderful food. Wonderful service.My Hun and I enjoyed our first visit roughly a year ago and made it a point to go back because we had such a great experience!Great food. Great portions. Super friendly service and attention.
the porterhouse steak and salmon were good, peach tea and service was good. however, if there was a Longhorn steakhouse around we would go with them everytime. the just do steaks the best! Texas Roadhouse is my second choice & did great!
Our waiter Spencer was the best waiter we’ve had in over 2 years! We stopped going out too eat for awhile because the service was so bad, but Spencer was on top of everything and did a great job!!! My husband and I could tell how much he loved his job and how he takes so much pride in what he does! We don’t live in Athens, so it was definitely worth the drive to have him as our waiter!
Steak was cooked correctly. Beer was good… sides wasn’t properly prepared and the bartenders definitely are all over the place… this isn’t the roadhouse experience I’m used too. Maybe send them to Goldsboro, nc and let them really ladies teach them. Take me serious or not… I don’t gaf!!
We were in town and wanted a steak so we headed to Logan's to find they have shut down. Quick google search and we found Teaxs Roadhouse we had one of our best experiences. We frequent another location and we get good service and food. Today we got awesome service and food. Everything was perfect and was the end of a stressful day our server took great care of us and made us feel welcome. We will be coming back for sure
Our server (the young man at the bar) I couldn't hear his name I think hunter or Tommy! Idk it was really loud in there! But he was very good. Our food was great. My steak was a perfect medium. The manager swung by to see how things were going! My sister and myself were very pleased with our experience this time.Coming from a long horn server and somebody who knows the chaos of a restaurant. I was very pleased with it from the moment we walked in, until we walked out! Thank you for a great lunch!

Come early there is usually a line but, worth the wait. Great food and great service. The yeast rolls are great as well. Maybe a chain but Athens location is doing it right.
Ordered the 12oz steak & ribs combo. The ribs were fall off the bone delicious. Steak was cooked a perfect medium well. Whomever was the cook on Saturday, February 26th around 2pm, cooked everything with LOVE & to perfection!!!
