This is my all time favorite restaurant in Athens. The food is FANTASTIC! My friends and I have been eating here ever since we were freshman at UGA. The food is always fresh and delicious. The overall experience is amazing. The staff is wonderful and always so kind. Taste of India is where my friends and I go when we need to celebrate or just catch up. We love it so much, that it is also our go to place for take-out. Not to mention that it is my parents favorite when they come to visit! Taste of India is unbeatable!!!!!! <3

Lovely little place for some comfort food takeout (ask for cutlery) or a quiet date dining in. The food is amazing, reasonably priced (especially compared to other "nicer" restaurants in Athens which have worse quality and are more expensive) I've tried finding recipes to make at home to satisfy my cravings when I can't make it to Athens, and it just doesn't compare. Great chefs, beautiful setting, and kind staff.

Excellent food , exquisite flavors . Service outstanding and great ambiance .

This was our first time here and we loved it!! Great customer service and very friendly! The food is amazing and authentic love their naan!!! Would definitely recommend. There is a nice outdoor patio and great selection of beer. Our new favorite spot in Athens.

Finally had the chance to eat here in-person. Everything was perfectly seasoned, SPICY, and delicious! Can't wait to try other dishes on the menu

We drove across town to eat lunch here yesterday and checked online to see what their hours where. Great open for lunch from 11-2pm. We get there at 1:15pm walk in and was asked if we are doing take out. I said no, I’d like a table for two. I was told they stop seating people at 1pm. I was blown away that they would not seat paying customers that wanted to eat at their restaurant. They told me I could order take out. I told them that I would like to sit down. They told me they stop seating at 1pm do the kitchen and close up and clean. This made no sense. If I ordered take out, the kitchen would still have to make my food no matter if I ate at a table or for take out. I was very disappointed in the lack of customer service. I take it this establishment must be doing pretty well if it has no problem turning away customers. We decided to go eat at another local restaurant that could use local support. I have never eaten here, and I’m not sure if I will ever return to give them a try.

One of the best Indian (also see unfortunately few) places in town. I was sick as a dog and this place cleared up my sinuses with the best Tandoori Chicken Tikka.

Wonderful wonderful place! We had a lovely time the food was Absolutely delicious! The service was fabulous and The restaurant is impeccable!!!Please tell your father that you’ve mastered his wonderful techniques, and that he should be very proud of you!! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Best Indian food I’ve ever had!

I was a fist timer and so impressed! I appreciated the time that the friendly female staff member at the front desk took to explain various sauces and which paired best with which dishes. Boy, was she on point. The turmeric salmon ? was AMAZING! The appetizer that has chicken inside the naan was also fabulous! The Marsala, okra dish and all the sauces were delish! Very Clean restroom also. A new hidden treasure on the east side! Oh, and if you have battled Covid at home and won, like me you might find you just can’t get spicy foods and you will have left overs for days. Everything shown here was $54 lunch portions and more than enough for several meals!
