I’ve just recently move to this town and Shane’s is my go to barbecue spot. But this one was not clean at all, the slaw was more like soup, wanting to sit down and enjoy my meal I could not. After ordering my meal I looked to my left filthy looked to my right dirty. Seems the staff was all in the back doing nothing other than having someone cleaning. I really wanted to cancel my order cause I feel if you don’t keep the area of your restaurant clean where the customers themselves are able to see lord knows how the back is kept. Pictures below.
Called and placed order. When I got there I waited about 20 minutes to move up in ordering line to get my food. When I get home my chicken tenders were so dry and crisp they weren't worth eating. My husband's wings were just that. No celery no carrots just a pitiful plate of wings. They weren't good either the meat was dry. When I pay this much money for food I like to enjoy it and this I did not.
I purchased barbecue stew from this location and the stew was burnt. I placed my order online and someone picked it up for me. Very poor service to serve a customer burnt food. I had to throw it away. I don’t plan to order from this Shane’s again.
Ordered the 10 piece smoked wings and these are the wings I received. Not only are these not smoked wings they look like they’ve been sitting out since they opened. I asked cashiers if they would eat the wings they said no so then I asked why would you serve them to me? Their response was that’s how they’ve been coming out all week. Shane’s was a favorite but I think I’ve just made my last trip.
Been going to this location since they opened. So disappointed with the chicken wings ordered this evening. They were more like extra dry quail wings. I understand suppliers let restaurants down at times, but I would rather be told you were out of wings then to carryout these pathetic things. It won't let me post a picture, but trust me when I say they were about the size of my wife's pinky. Gonna be a while before I make that mistake again.
April 21st, 2022. The worst experience ever! I usually eat Shane’s.. but this is the last time!! I pay $25 for two sad meals! The “tenders” are the size of tiny boneless wings.. the chicken strips are dry.. even with EXTRA SAUCE. I ordered curbside so I didn’t have to go in.. I call and I’m placed on hold for 6 minutes. Until I walk into the store and ask for my food. Bring it home & it’s cold.. rant over.
This has been my #1 go to for take out dinner basically since they opened. I generally always get the same thing, pulled pork dinner w/ coleslaw & beans. The last few times I’ve ordered it the coleslaw is like mush & 25 to 35 percent of the pulled port is to hard to even eat. This really sucks because I have gotten great food and great service for years. ?
Everything was good except my ribs. They didn't have the barbecue smoke flavor. Taste as if they were boiled first.
I smelled something burning when I walked in... I soon figured out that it was my hamburger, never had this problem before, I love coming here, I just don't know what happened today, I didn't have time to order anything else, I was busy on my lunch break ?
I don’t know what has happened at this Shane’s location, but it has really gone downhill from where it used to be. No more potatoes, no more green beans, no masks, the trashcan out front is overflowing onto the sidewalk, & for the first time ever… This half chicken is disgusting. Dry, small, the leg not even connected to it. What happened? The staff are all kids that don’t seem to know or care about quality or service. I’m guessing the management has changed because it is a far cry from what it used to be. Save your money and go somewhere else.
