Nice ambiance with a patio and a porch as well as ample indoor seating. The menu has a lot of choices and even more choices for sauces, true to its name.Everything I ate was solid. No complaints. But nothing stood out either with the possible exception of the bread pudding. The bread pudding would have been even better with vanilla ice cream I think. Might try that next time.I will come back at least once more to try a few more dishes and maybe change my mind and rate them higher than 4 stars⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Even though the parking lot was packed we got in and got our food quickly. I had the pulled pork, baked beans, and fried okra, and my boyfriend had the half rack of ribs, mac n cheese, and the potato salad. We split a peach cobbler as well. The ONLY negative thing I could say is the okra could have been crispier. Everything was so delicious and there’s a sauce for everybody. The potato salad was genuinely one of the best I’ve ever had, and the baked beans were unique and delicious and not too sweet like some places. Ribs were falling off the bone & so tender. The peach cobbler was also amazing! Highly recommend!!

Music was so loud by the order counter that it was hard to place your order. Both my brisket and my fried okra were cold, my brisket was very good however. My daughter's chicken was dry. I really liked the atmosphere it seemed like a fun place but the food is mediocre.

I have had Saucehouse twice, once through a catered event, and once yesterday when my friend and I wanted BBQ. This place is SO GOOD. I got the pulled pork on a bun, mac and cheese, and green beans as well as a sweet tea. If you love sauce, they have tons of options and all of them are tasty. I personally love the House Sauce which is "everything but mustard". If you are craving BBQ, everything here will hit the spot!

Saucehouse is always amazing! The service is wonderful - their employees are always so friendly and helpful. And the food? I eat there nearly every week, if that tells you anything. Always cooked just right, and the best Brunswick stew in town. Love to see a UGA alum doing great, right here in the Classic City!

Really yummy food. Ate during the Super Bowl. They have a cute outside area with a big screen to watch games.

Sauce house is accurate! They have a ton! And as a huge fan of sauce, I was greatly pleased. The customer service is top notch. Super friendly and helpful. Elijah assisted me, and was great. He is training to be assistant man, which gives me a great feeling knowing they care about their customer service. The food was great! Brisket was nice and juicy with a good flavor, and you get a lot of food when you order the plate. Well worth it. My only dislike is that the brisket isn't sliced to order. It is already sliced and put in a pan. Its still really good, but I prefer a lean cut, therefore sliced to my liking. Other than that, top notch. I'll be coming back to try the bread pudding.

Went for lunch on a Friday. First time here and would go back again. I had brisket with Hawaiian rolls, coleslaw, Georgia hash, and banana pudding. Great sauces and everything was very tasty. Both of the guys with me said they liked it as well and one was from Nashville and I would say knows good BBQ.

My partner and I were visiting Athens, GA for the first time as she was offered a faculty position at UGA.Having lived in Louisiana, good BBQ is very important to me, and my partner really wanted to have some good Southern BBQ. So, after deciding on Saucehouse BBQ, we walked over from our hotel. The restaurant looks nice. It does feel like a cafeteria, but we were all about it. The staff was INCREDIBLY friendly, even offering us some free mac and cheese! However, the food was....not good. We got the pulled pork, brisket, mac-n-cheese, Georgia hash, and green beans. The pulled pork and brisket were dry. Thank goodness for the sauces (which are actually very good), because the meats lacked any flavor. The mac-n-cheese simply was not good. It was less ooey-gooey and very, very grainy. The noodles were cooked reasonably though (al dente). Still, overall, lacked any sort of flavor. We figured the green beans would be our veggie, but it was a green bean casserole. No matter, that was our mistake, however, the green beans were mushy and the casserole was flavorless.Lastly, the Georgia hash just....wasn't good. It may have been my least favorite part of the meal.Another thing -- the tables were all gross, and when they handed us a number (they were making a fresh batch of mac-n-cheese), it was greasy. The shared sauce containers were all also very greasy.Aside from the very, very friendly staff, we left feeling incredibly disappointed. I'm hoping this was just a bad day and their food and cleanliness is generally better (we did come at the end of the day). Otherwise, I'm not so sure we want to come again when we move to Athens.

We did a catered event for 50 for our sons graduation party. Their food is great or why would we have been there? The room was on premises, outside entrance and includes a bathroom. They have rooms for 20, 50 or 100. We were given access early to the room to set up. Summerlin was our server and she was over the top for the whole event. The catering coordinator came in on her off day to ensure everything was good. I could not add anything they could have done to make it a more memorable event. Thank you Saucehouse!
