The best sushi I've found in Athens so far. Service is also very quick. A little pricey, but totally worth it. We budget it out so that we can eat there for our monthly date night
Excellent hibachi food! Any and all food cooked on the hibachi - rice, vegetables, chicken, steak, shrimp, etc - it's all delicious. I'm not a big sushi eater, but my family members that have ordered sushi here have all loved it. I took off 1 star because I do feel like it's a bit overpriced for some menu items.
This place is okay, I left feeling pretty disappointed. The servers were really kind, but took a long time to take our check. The atmosphere is nice, and the food came out quickly. We ordered yakitori, a chicken hibachi dinner and a butterfly roll. I thought that we would have received a bit more food for the price, or at least food that was more flavorful, but to be honest the presentation and flavor was lackluster. I don't think the quality and amount of food was worth the price, hence the disappointment. I think there are better places in Athens where the same amount will take you need further.
Visited Sakura for the first time for my birthday with my partner. The restaurant has multiple hibachi grills and separate seating areas.The service was extraordinary, as was the food and drinks. We ordered cocktails and the sushi for two. The portion size for the meal was much more than we expected and was incredibly delicious.Parking is behind the restaurant with signage showing the way. Disability parking is in front of the building, but limited.I'll definitely be returning and trying the hibachi grills and highly recommend anyone interested in hibachi and sushi to visit.
The recent experience at Sakura was as close to 1 stars as one can go. The sushi was of terrible quality, dry rice, with minimal rice on the rolls. The quality of the fish was a joke. Fishy, terrible taste. Ordered a roll that came out completely different than was described on the menu. Kindly asked if they would take it back and remove it from the bill, they declined. Some customer service they got there! Stay away if you’re there for sushi!
Went here with family and we had a great time. Pricey, but the food is great and service is fast. The only negative thing is the floors were very slippery. They were not wet, just very slippery, I saw a server almost fall. It is a nice restaurant with a good environment.
Great variety and quality of food! We enjoyed the hibachi experience as well as eating sushi and having a few fun drinks. No complaints from the whole group. The chefs were fun and engaging and we had a blast!
An attractive well prepared and presented lunch. Nice patio space. A little more as far as cost, but worthwhile. I had an orchid decorating my lunch, it lasted 3 days afterwards.
The food was delicious! Parking was scarce. Servers and chefs were polite and service was prompt. It was a great dinner for a small family gathering. I will definitely be back!
Great service and great food. The price is a bit high but it's still worth it.
