The food was amazing and service was fantastic…
We come once a month. Love eating here Summer and Winter. Could not wait for banana pie to come in season. Was very disappointed to find out they were not serving this season.
It’s a great restaurant. I recommend the Chicken Tender Wrap.
I gotta say I was very surprised how well this steak was prepared. Usually you have to go to Porterhouse to get a well done steak cooked without it being dry and hard and actually taste good. It was great! Salad fresh and the croissants are always amazing! Big kudos to the staff that took my order. She helped me make my online order over the phone and it came out perfect!
This place never disappoints! The best thing on the menu is the cheese fries! But honestly everything is good. The honey butter croissants are also super tasty. Just another Athens staple. It’s not a corporate-feeling sports bar like Buffalo Wild Wings or a corporate bar and grill like Applebees. It’s the things you love about those places without the things you hate. Comfortable vibe without the corporate feel or corporate cost cutting. If you’ve lived in Athens for any length of time, it just feels like home.
Went with a few friends. One person ordered steak extra rare, it came out extra well. I ordered a burger, medium, it came out extra well. Basically everything was burnt except the potatoes. Speaking of which, my French fries were amazing. The only good thing I can say about the experience.The server barely checked up on us at all and our glasses stayed empty pretty much the whole meal. Then they got all the bills wrong, and then I paid in cash and everybody else with card and they didn't bring me any change. So they got a $7 tip from me by basically just forgetting to bring me the chance. I was so much wanting to get out of there from the bad service that I didn't realize they forgot to bring me my change until I was half way home.
We are a group of women veterans that meet here once a month, and it is always a wonderful experience. The service and food are extraordinary, and they give us a veteran’s discount.
The food was so good! I had a burger and my niece had a club! Both with a side of fries! There were so many fries and half of each sandwich would have filled us but they were so good . The bacon on the burger was excellent and bigger than any bacon I have seen on a burger I. A long time. The desserts were wonderful! We will be back! If we can only get back for desserts!
I rarely take the time to leave a negative review, but I need to share that this was one of the worst restaurant experiences we have had. The service was not great. We were there at 2:30 on a Saturday and were seated right away. Our salads came out so late, then our entrees were served about 2 minutes later so they sat on the table while we ate the salads. On the bright side, our salads were so terrible that we did not eat them, so the food didn’t have to sit long. I’ve put a photo of the salads to show how awful they were. They were literally sitting in water. My salmon did not look like a typical piece of salmon, I should have known then, but managed to eat half. That was Saturday and today is Tuesday and I am still having stomach cramps and vomiting. This was absolutely from our meal at Raffertys because it was the only thing I had eaten that day and have not been able to eat much of anything since because I’ve been so sick. Do not recommend at all.
Customer service was amazing and very quick with orders! It was a Wednesday night but there was still a steady crowd! Food was excellent didn't order anything fancy just burgers and fries but they displayed with elegance and exceeded my taste buds expectations! Great place over all! Enjoy it if you have the chance!
