Unless you can't handle spicy food, I would encourage everyone to try the Szechuan menu. It is a real privilege to have a place serving food such as this that usually can only be found in a major city. Everything is fantastic. So many great appetizers, and my favorite entree is the double cooked style. I haven't tried the other parts of the menu because it is mostly things I can find anywhere, but it wouldn't surprise me if their versions are superior because I have not eaten anything here that was not exceptional. I am happy to drive all the way across town to eat here, because nothing else comes close in the area for Chinese.
Absolutely delicious!! Food came out quickly and was extremely fresh and hot. My dad got a cup of hot & sour soup to start and Mushu pork, I had a cup of wonton soup to start and the spicy orange peel chicken. We both said our meals were some of the best Chinese we’ve had in a long time. Portions are huge and we had plenty of leftovers to take home. This place is definitely the real deal! Super authentic. So happy to finally have found a go-to Chinese place in Athens! Can’t wait to return ☺️
Exceptional, far exceeded expectations. They have a menu full of just sichuan food, and literally everything we ordered was seasoned perfectly (most places either under or over-do the sodium), cooked perfectly, and the flavors were well-balanced. The chili oil/sauce that came with the pork belly had the perfect amount of sichuan peppercorn - brought a lovely floral note without being overpowering. If you're looking for more traditional Chinese food, there is zero (genuine) competition in Athens. Looking forward to visiting again.
One of my favorite places to eat in Athens. The food is wonderful and they are always very accommodating to dietary preferences and restrictions. The wait staff are seriously some of the sweetest and most hospitable in Athens!
Clean. Friendly staff. The prices are legit, lunch menu even better! You have the freedom to wear a mask. Their staff still wears one out of respect for public and their is a plexiglass window to stop the corona for those who choose to be maskless. (; Dine in is open. My food wasnt greasy, flavor, hottt and portions are perfect. The rice alone is enough to marry the guy in the back.
The curry is good! We stopped here on Christmas Day and it was busy. We had to wait a while for our food but understood why.Stop in and give it a try.
It is my first time eating here. I had shrimp and chicken Hunan style, and my wife took a bento box. I am impressed by their portion size. At least I couldn't finish half of what they gave me. Their miso soup was refreshing too. Overall, I enjoyed their food. Although I've eaten better Hunan-style chicken before, I didn't feel like taking down a star for that.
We went at supper hour on Friday night. They were super busy with both carry out and eat in.I believe the staff was overwhelmed. Food was great, our poor little waiter needed more assistance. Next time, we’ll choose carry out.
Visiting in nearby Lake Oconee and looking for the nearest authentic Chinese place. Read they have a Sichuan menu. They were really good. Loved the stir fried pork kidneys.
I was so eager to give this restaurant a 5 star review that I am writing this from my booth! We were here for lunch and ordered the spicy mango chicken and the spicy salmon and crunch rolls (part of a 2 for $10.95 sushi lunch special). We chose to get fried rice and the chicken egg roll, and honestly the food was so delicious! It far exceeded our expectations. The chicken, peppers, and mango tasted so fresh and all of our food was clearly cooked and prepared to order. The sushi was amazing as well, with the shrimp tempura roll being one of the best I’ve ever had! Our server was also very kind, making the whole experience very pleasurable. The best part, it’s definitely fairly priced (our whole meal was only ~$20 and we left feeling very full and satisfied). Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant!
