When we arrived at the restaurant with our family, we were told it might be a while before we get served but we could sit down. The lady finally came to our table about 20 minutes after we sat down and only said we have no biscuits or bacon. Okay?? Weird. Especially since we then heard "BLT up." Apparently they "found a little bit of bacon." We were not offered drinks while we waited, so after 30 minutes and some very mediocre looking food coming out to others, we let her know that we decided to move on. We received no apologies for the wait or delay. It was like they were glad they didn't have to make food for a table of 6. With that kind of service, I am surprised anyone goes there at all.

We literally stumbled into this restaurant while walking down the street …it was sooo cold outside and we were looking for a warm place to eat while waiting for our granddaughter at State Honor Chorus on the UGA campus. The setting is outdated but the food is delicious..best pancakes I’ve ever had and fluffy eggs. The coffee was so good too. We were greeted with kindness and enjoyed our meal very much…I highly recommend this mom and pop restaurant!! Just be sure and have CASH!! No credit/debit accepted. Fortunately we did. ?

The food was good overall. The decor seemed dated, but perhaps that is part of the overall vibe. As a customer in a modern restaurant, I expect to have the option to pay by debit or credit card; if not, I'd like to know that VERY clearly upfront Unfortunately, I didn't find that out until after my meal. I was then told there was an ATM down the street I could use. So I ended up a quarter block from the people I ate with, standing in the cold, being charged $4.00 extra to get the cash to pay for my meal. I hope this will help someone enjoy their experience more than I did.

Every time I have eaten here, with a group or simply with my husband, the food has been delicious. And the service has been outstanding. Thank you!

It was like Waffle House food wise - not exceptional but decent. The environment is cute! It has a sweet vibe and the employees are friendly! I wouldn’t ever go back though - If I had to pick I would prefer Waffle House for a cheap/fun breakfast food option

Comfortable laid back dining in experience...my 1st time there..fast & food was good...only complaint would BE is there was NO steak available even though it's on the menu. I was told they would begin servings again when the price is reduced. ..guess it will be awhile.

We went there for breakfast when we were there for the GA/USC game Sept 18th, 2021. We always heard great things about the restaurant as being a family owned business, etc. We went in sat down at a table the owners wife, Lisa, came over gave us a menu and utensils. She’s said she’ll be back to take our order. We sat there for about 10 minutes then was asked to move to the table behind us which was a table for 2 ( not a problem). Lisa never came back to take our drink order, etc. So I got another waitress attention and she came over. I asked her if she could take our order because Lisa hasn’t. The waitress was nice enough to get our drinks for us and took our order. While waiting on our breakfast the cook(owner) then asked the waitress to move us AGAIN!! Now we were back at a table of 4. We should’ve walked out, but we didn’t. While eating we placed an order of 2 biscuits to go. We waited for 30 plus minutes never received. We asked to get our money. Will NEVER go back!!! Food was okay, but the SERVICE was awful. I will say thanks for the waitress that did take our order! She seemed to taking up all the slack for Lisa. They really pay attention to their floors, etc.there are very dirty. You also get serviced on paper products and they only except CASH!! No notice on front door to let you know before entering.

Well worn family restaurant. Not much ambience, but the food was good. Would have liked it to be a little cleaner overall.

No masks worn, none required. a COVID factory. Food served in styrofoam and with plastic ware. This place is on its way out.

Nice people, good grits but everything is paper plates, plastic silverware and styrofoam cups. The floors and everything outside the kitchen is filthy. This place needs a cleanup and remodel
