We received a recommendation of mama’s boy from a different restaurants cook. We can’t say enough good things. The food was amazing! We ate there 3 out of the 5 days we were in town. We send 4 other couples and they all raved about it too. Best of all the staff is a delight! Special thanks to Chelsea , she lights up the place. We’ll be back next year .
Great food, great service. The Old Millhouse Breakfast has delicious, huge homemade biscuits and cheesy grits. We chose the traditional eggs and meat options. Outdoor dining available. We chose indoor and enjoyed the upbeat atmosphere.

Very popular and can be crowded. A wide choice of breakdast menu options; all great. Uses a unique method of ordering your food. You give your order to the hostess after your name is called and before you enter the restaurant. Food is served after you are seated. They are famous for the biscuits which are a must. I ignored the following stupid covid questions since it's time people got beyond this.
I've been here twice and really enjoyed it. The food tastes great. I'd recommend the Georgia Peach French Toast. It's very charming and a great place for a group.The only downside is that it can be very busy, especially at brunch time, and there can be a bit of a wait.
This is my second time eating here. My first visit was not a good impression at all. It was opening time on. Sunday and the staff clearly didn’t want to be there on that particular Sunday morning. I’m glad I gave it aSecond try. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The vegetarian/vegan options were delicious. I like the at-home feel of the restaurant. I will certainly return for breakfast when I visit my daughter.
My friend & I were in town from out of state. We decided on having breakfast here while heading out of town our final day in Athens. Delicious breakfast plates, good coffee & love their biscuits! Great service when we visited today too ~ friendly staff makes it that much better!
