If you ever in Athens Georgia, you must stop at this Authnetic Mexican place. We are from California and it was beyond our expectations.The food is amazing! I can't even describe the taste, you must try it yourself. And we grabbed burritos to go for our long road trip.
No doubt about it hands down. This is the ‘’BESTEST’’ place to eat! If you like authentic Mexican food? Here it is! The food is fresh and hot. Go early because there will be a crowd.

BEST tacos in Athens hands downEverything here is amazing but if you have to narrow it down to three tacos, get the chicken, steak, and chorizo. The tacos are filled with flavor but watch out for the sauces that come with them. They will light your tongue on fire if you aren’t careful. 2-3 tacos per person and chips and salsa and/or guacamole to share among 4 people makes for an awesome, tasty, and super affordable meal. Each taco is around $2.50 and comes with the fixings unless you specially request to not have them.I’ve only been during the past year and there is only outdoor seating but everything is packed to-go if you want to take it home instead.This restaurant is near Southern Brewing Company and is the perfect meal to eat while listen to music and drinking beer.Update: we have not tried the sopes (a light, fried, round of dough piled with meat, lettuce, and cheese) and the burritos and they are also amazing. Everything on the menu is wonderful.
Today was my first time going and I must say, it was delicious! I got the steak burrito! And it was loaded! Definitely going back!

Hands down best tacos in the Athens area. I thought the barbacoa and carne asada were especially good. Affordable and delicious. Get the refried beans as a side. Both salsas are also good and the red has a nice kick.
Outstanding!We moved to Georgia from Texas 3 years ago. This is by far the best Mexican food we have had since we got here.
Best Tacos in Athens
Genuinely high quality authentic tacos. Simple as that. Try out the Al Pastor tacos! They have great red/green salsas as well which compliment the flavors beautifully. The staff are super nice and laid back which makes for a wonderful environment. Will definitely be back for more!
