Went in to get a soup and a club sandwich after work.. 3 people were working.. Not busy at all.. cashier and the one working up front could have cared less to be there.. They spent more time talking to each other than working on my order. As I waited, the girl in the back that was preparing the stuff for the salad bar comes out front to grab a handful of onions, or something, to take to the back, and in the process her hair dragged thru about 4 pans of food.. About 10 min later, with no other orders, I still haven't gotten my soup and club. ONCE AGAIN, I'm the only one there at this point.. The guy goes to the back and I go up to cancel my order since he hadn't even started.. I WILL NEVER GO BACK

Jason’s Deli was delicious! The food was flavorful and so fresh! The Ruben sandwich was piled high with 1/2 pound of meat, tangy sauerkraut, gooey melted provolone cheese and just a smear of thousand island dressing. The bread was lightly toasted. Very yummy.The California Club sandwich was like a salad in your mouth just bursting with freshness. The meat was the perfect amount with a generous serving of crisp greens, firm and juicy tomato slice, perfectly cooked bacon and flavorful guacamole. The croissant was also lightly toasted and perfectly flaky. Absolutely wonderful!The fruit was crisp and juicy and the dip was a vanilla cream of some kind.Their hibiscus tea is slightly sweet and very refreshing.I highly recommend Jason’s deli and have visited the last two times I was in Athens.They also have an amazing salad bar that looks fabulous but I have not tried it myself.
I LOVE the food at Jason's Deli, so it's a treat when I'm in the area. The menu is extensive and healthy! At the Athens location, Laniya was so cheerful and helpful! When they got my order wrong, they gave me the wrong order for free and corrected the mistake.
On 5/5)22 evening myself and a friend went to Jason Deli for dinner. We had the pleasure of having David take our orders and he was a very nice and knowledgeable young man!! After answering the questions we had while ordering he made sure the orders were correct and made sure we had everything. While eating David came and checked on us to make sure we were ok and to see if we needed anything. To the Management Team: Give David a promotion or at least a raise because his customer service is over the top awesome!Thanks

My husband ordered 1/4 muffeletta with bbq chips and side salad. He got plain chips and no salad. Service was slow but I get it as there aren't enough people to work. Bathroom was not clean and things hanging off the walls. The picture of nothing beside his plate is where his salad isn't. I come here a good bit and unfortunately the standards seem to be slipping.
March 10, 2022. Don’t go to Jasons in Athens. today because they have no hot water! So how are they washing their hands? Went into the ladies room and there was a container marked tea sitting over the sink ? I asked the manager why it was there and she said so you can wash your hands in hot water! Food was ridiculously ? A loaded baked potato was filled with 3 inches of melted cheese! My husband‘s dinner was dry roast beef! $35 for dinner that was impossible to consume!! When I told the manager that the cornbread was disgusting she said “OK“. Seriously? and the more I thought about it the sicker I got at the thought of them not washing anything in hot water! Time to call the health department!
Chocolate mousse on the salad bar - be still my heart! Salad bar is excellent. Staff is great. Music eclectic. Loved it while up here for Allstate Band.
