The pastries were slightly burnt and they could not heat up the croissants. Still, the baked goods were delicious and it's a cute shop. Want to support for tasty local baked goods, however:I don't even really want to go back due to the service. Upon leaving and looking at my pastry bag, I realized they switched two items in my order, so I went back in the shop. After waiting in the long line, the cashier took the wrong item out of my bag, replaced it with the right item, and then charged me the difference. I hope they didn’t put that pastry back on the shelf...I go back home and realize nothing was ever even refunded to my card :/

bread is always amazing. their sweets though had this awful taste. we got the chocolate croissant, chocolate chip cookie, and morning breakfast roll and they were not burnt, but had this burnt, horrid taste. Our guess that maybe it was the butter they use? It was very unpleasant.

Felt like being home in New York. Real fresh baked crusty bread. Service was efficient and friendly. Prices were equal to the quality. Again, we will be back!

Such lovely bread options, got a couple of sweets and some savoury bread. The outside of the shop is very sweet as well!

Don’t usually review places but I had to for this place. Some of the best bread I’ve ever had in my life. Always stop in and get a French loaf to have at the house whenever I can.

Greatest bakery around! The staff is so utterly helpful, patient and kind and always wiling to provide fabulous guidance. The baked goods rival any I've tasted in Europe, no kidding. Such a gem and gift to our community.

There are so few true bakeries anymore. This is one of them. Breads of all sorts, scones, cookies, coffee and other delicious goodies. I got a lemon hazlenut scone...big and so delicious!

No doubt this place makes fantastic bread and other baked items. It's buying their products that's difficult and reduces a potential 5 star rating from me, to 2 stars. They have no voice mail; often the phone just rings and rings for hours. I've also been turned down when ready to purchase over the phone:"There will be no items available for "walk-ins".For goodness sake, make more or come up with a consistent policy for advanced ordering and stick with it. The random fashion of your sales "rules" isn't comfortable and impossible to make plans around. If you produce a quality product, figure out how to display and sell it efficiently. I'm going to boycott you because you've disappointed me when I've tried to buy your products, multiple times. Sure your stuff is good; your management of your inventory and personnel isn't though, to the point of customer exasperation.

Amazing bread but the line becomes damn near unbearable if a single person orders coffee/espresso. Separate bread only line? ?

"I had to walk ALL THE WAY across the street"? Out of pastries at 5pm on a Friday? C'mon people. They are a small establishment. If you know anything about great bread and pastry, this is the place to go. This is one of only a few legit, authentic, and classic European bakeries in America. They use all organic flour as well as mill all their dark flour from wheat and rye berries. They use high quality ingredients and everything they make is from scratch. As far as I know, most of the production team have been trained in well known culinary schools and collectively have close to 70 years of baking experience. They know what they are doing. "Burnt" bread is never sold and the if the crust is crusty (hence the word crust) the crumb will be delicious. Its a very important part of bread. I for one would vouch for thus place all day and night. Its not Kings Hawaiian, Sara Lee, or any high production factory made stuff, this is real soul lifting, small batch, and high quality stuff. I will keep frequenting this place. Thank you to the staff, great job!
