Nothing but positives at this place! Caroline was so kind and helpful to our family, especially our son Daniel, who is autistic. She talked to him about lizards (Daniel's favorite topic), and his face just lit up .Calmest and happiest I've seen him in a public place for a good while! Food was great, Natalie was great! A little worried this place was empty at dinner time on a Sat night. We loved the fish tacos & burrito bowls!
Delicious! Went here with my girlfriend and 7 month old, they were EXTREMELY accommodating. Front counter lady was amazing, and the cook... The cook does NOT short you on the meat. I'm glad I don't live any closer, because I'd be a lot heavier, but I'd probably be a bit happier.
Great place! This is my favorite Mexican grill in town! This restaurant became my go-to whenever I was craving quesadillas after I ordered pickup for the first time. Meat was cooked to perfection every single time. I would say give it a try, and you will love it!!
Being a longtime connoisseur of Mexican food, I've tried most all of the restaurants in Athens. This is one of my favorites. Natalie is always friendly, the food is excellent, and supporting a local restaurant is always good. The burritos are HUGE, and it not just what she said...
Love this place! Great prices and the food is always fresh, delicious, and given in generous portions. I usually get the burrito bowl, but the tacos are great as well, and don’t miss the freshly made, chunky guacamole! Highly recommend.
Please pick what days you open and keep them that way. Every time I go to order the delicious food, it’s different. It’s super annoying
Used to go here a lot and it was so good! When they first opened, I couldn't get enough! But I just went back for lunch and even though we were the only two people in the restaurant we had very little service. The food was disappointing, especially in comparison to my past experiences with this restaurant. My salad was okay, but the pork was bland and mushy. My partners quesadilla was cold and the guacamole seemed store bought. The $3 quesadilla was so small and kind of cold and again seemed store bought. It was extremely runny. Just not worth $12 a plate, maybe more like $6.
My stay at the Iguana restaurant was more than I expected. I was greeted with the friendly smile of the masked man at the door. He was knowledgeable about the product that was being served. My grandmother (pictured below) ordered a chicken quesadilla that was so scrumptious it brought her back to her youth in southern Kazakhstan. She said “I like very nice”. I would agree my torta definitely tickled my inners (in the best way possible). Condolences, Box Smirnoff
Just tried this place for the first time! There are more tables than the 3 you first see when you walk in. They're around the corner. We got the Arroz Loco with chicken and it was the best we've had in Athens. Will definitely be back!
