Bought food there and had it delivered tonight and the rice and food tasted so bad I called and complained ....We usually order here twice a month but not anymore.......They told us they can recook or they can give us a refund ...We wanted it re cooked,well few minutes later they called said they spoke to owner n kitchen staff and they said if they re cook it will be the same since they found nothing wrong w kitchen...Well you just lost a customer the food tasted like bad grease/burnt taste it was awful!! Worst place was on hold for 11 mins before I was responded to. I could hear the receptionist take a walk in order and 3 call in orders. I will never go there nor will I ever call and order food from there again. I will use Red Bowl from now on.
Disappointing. I got home with my food and thought wow maybe the price was worth it because it looks good... Changed my mind after I tried everything!Paid $50+ for rice that'll choke you, almost flavorless coconut shrimp (that they "warned" me might be too sweet which was ok because coconut shrimp is always sweet right?... It tasted faintly like tangy vegetables and not even close to any coconut shrimp I've ever had), dry vegetable lo mein that completely took on the flavor of the bell pepper they used so every choking bite was the same and then the crabless crab rangoon. ??♀️ Oh, the sesame chicken was ok though. It was an average, not horrible not great, sesame chicken - But not worthy of saying this experience was decent.
I called order myself some takeout this evening after a hard afternoons work. I ordered pepper steak, fried rice and crab Rangoons. I gave my credit card information to pre pay. When I got home I was looking at my balance on my account and saw it cost $27.00!!!! This is an order I've made at numerous Chinese restaurants so I didn't think I needed to ask how much it was and thought it should be around $15-20 max! I called and spoke with someone at the restaurant and he informed me my meal was $19 plus $7 for the Rangoons. I've never had to pay $19 for pepper steak and fried rice before in my 47 years!! It was not good at all and that feels so bad for me such a waste of hard earned money. The steak was chewy and the Rangoons tasted like old grease. I could of had a fillet at longhorn for that price I'm so disappointed. Lesson learned. Don't waste your money here you will not be happy.
Dumplings weren’t upto expectations but lo mein and soup were top notch
We order pick up frequently and have eaten there for many years. We have never had a bad meal nor bad service. We highly recommend this restaurant.
This family-owned and faily-run restaurant has been a favorite of mine and my family for over 10 years. The food is always fresh and well-prepared, and the staff are the friendliest and most helpful The Lunch and Dinner Combos are generous and very well-priced.
I ordered take out last Sunday and waited in the lobby. During that 15 minutes, I was listening to the lady talk to people on the phone and people coming to pick their orders, and I want to say top-notch customer service. She remembered people's names from the voices and went above and beyond when people made mistake of ordering lunch special which is not available on Sundays. Food was great, good flavor.
Do not order online from them. They claim they have no control over their online ordering payment system and so if you try to cancel your order bc they want to charge $15 extra bc their online prices are different from their menu prices, you will have to call and dispute the charge with your bank. I disputed a charge of $58.95 bc I was not paying $15 extra for the same amount of food and now 3 months later, bc this happened July 19th, 2021. I'm being charged AGAIN bc they falsely claimed I received the order that I canceled.
This was our first time eating here. We ordered Peking chicken, Mongolian beef, and egg rolls. The food was hot, freshly prepared and delicious! I hope to be able to return soon!
