After putting off this visit for years, we finally made it and were not disappointed. From the welcome to the last bite of dessert, the entire evening was a delight. Service was friendly and somewhat casual yet knowledgeable about the menu which, though limited, still managed to have something for just about anyone. The wine list is extensive without being overwhelming and has some excellent choices that won't break the bank. All in all, a very memorable experience. A bit pricy but that's understandable knowing what goes into providing this level of dining experience year in and year out. We won't wait as long to return for a second visit.
Smoked chicken was fantastic. The corn bread is a must. Unique atmosphere.
Pimiento cheese and bacon jam appetizer was delicious! The scallop and pork chop entree portions seemed meager for the price. Service was excellent, and staff were very attentive.
Excellent food, wonderful atmosphere-- very timely, prompt, and thoughtful service. It's a bit noisy to sit on the porch in the summertime, but that's because of the cicadas (and a little bit of road noise).
