So many types of calzones ? This place was amazing. Would definitely like to come back to try a different one. Open late, fast service, huge selection, very filling.
1. They do not have a drink machine only bottled drinks and waters.2. 15.50 for a calzone and a diet Coke. Out of your mind.3. Hair on one of the guys food.4. Cold in the middle of the Calzones.Just one employee at lunch time. Overall bad experience do not eat here.

At 3:30 on g day this place was empty, which was a little surprising as Amici next door was very crowded, but I think I just came in at a weird time because it filled up completely as I ate. The fajita chicken calzone recommended by the person taking orders was spicy but delicious (not too hot if you like spicy), though the center was a little cooler than ideal. Decent canned beer selection, lots of tv’s to watch the game, and the staff were friendly. In my original review I questioned whether capturing Amici’s spillover was a partial consideration, but this wasn’t a fair characterization. Eddie’s is good enough to stand on its own and I’ll be coming back. Bonus points for an owner who is on top of things enough to read and respond to reviews. ?
Food was okay, but overpriced. Two calzones and two waters for $30, before tip. Went on a Saturday at lunch time. There were only two girls working, who told us that they were both brand new and had been left alone trying to figure things out. She said they couldn't figure out any of the beer taps. There was only one couple ahead of us but still took about 30 minutes to get our food. And yes, this calzone is as small as the picture makes it seem.
This was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant! The manager or owner behind the counter is EXTREMELY RUDE!!!! No manners or professionalism in the slightest.Asked about something on the menu, everything’s out is what he kept saying, basic order of 10 boneless wings and fries, with a cheese calzone. 4 people behind me got food with more complicated orders than mine and when I asked about my food, can’t give me a straight answer. HORRIBLE Experience,
We were looking for a place to grab a quick bite & always try to eat at a local place. We should have know when there was no one eating there, to go elsewhere. Fillings in the calzones way too salty & Italian seasoning. Tiny cups of dipping sauce. Not impressed at all & would not go back.
Had a veggie calzone for iirc $12. They were alright 7/10. Service was great. Wait time wasn't horrible
My wife and I visited the Athens,Georgia location of Eddie's Calzones and was greeted by welcoming staff with a pleasant attitudes and smiles. First time eating calzones, so we relied heavily on suggestions from the staff. My wife had a special order (doesn't eat certain foods) and her food was correct (the first time) and overall, this place is somewhere I would eat again and was given a excellent impression of good and tasty calzones. In addition to staff being nice, the manager was extremely nice and professional. It was during a "low-key" time of the day and the manager assured that we were pleased. Awaiting our next visit (with other family members).
Eddie’s honestly changed my life for the better. Great customer service, great food, orders don’t take long at all. So many fries you’ll eat for days (those will be the best days of your life, trust me.) And Eddie is the nicest man i’ve ever met, i personally saw him rescue ten kittens from a burning tree being burnt down by an appponent calzone place(disgusting) and then donated calzone meals to 5 entire orphanages!!!!!!!! Anyways, if Eddie’s did not exist, I don’t think i velvet would have found joy.
