Very disappointed. Have eaten here before and usually ok as far as service and food . This Thursday was totally the opposite and probably just won’t be back.. We were a group of four and was seated pretty quick but then waited a good wait before waitress came over for drink order. We received our drinks and sat and drank our drinks and ate chips till chips were empty a good 25 to 30 min before waitress came over and ask .. Do y’all want to order something to eat?? I knew I should have just walked out then. We ordered and then ordered another round of drinks and the wait was on. After about 30 minutes one plate came out then the other plates came out about 10 to 15 minutes apart.. I’m shaking my head and looking around at everyone that has came in after us that has ate their meal and paid and left while we’re still waiting to get one meal at a time to the table.. wouldn’t have been so bad if we weren’t sitting watching tons of to go orders being shuffled out of the kitchen .. I guess those are way more important than people sitting and waiting..
Good food and very good service. Refreshingly clean!
Waitress added additional numbers to a tip; turned a $3 tip into $18 on a check that was barely even over that amount. Food took forever to come out, waitress appeared intoxicated. No selection of listed liquors/drinks in stock; shot ordered was smallest pour I’ve ever seen. Used to love this place, shame. Would leave 0 stars if I could.
Food was amazing but I was most impressed with their portion size! Everybody at the table had to get a doggy bag!! Highly recommend this establishment!!!
One of my favorite Mexican Restaurants! The food is always fresh and hot. The enchiladas are amazing! The service is very good.
I've had good food here before. It was a spin-off from old La Fiesta, but I think it has changed ownership. We went today and to be quite honest the food sucked. The server was very good, took great care of us. A chicken filled enchilada had stringy brown (thigh or back) meat in it, and I'm hoping it was chicken. I have never in my life taken meat out of an enchilada, but I couldn't stomach it. The other items on my plate were not quite as bad, but I left very unsatisfied. A trip to Taco Bell would have (seriously) been better. This was a game changer for me, stringy brown meat might be okay in Tijuana but not in Athens, at least for me.
This is hands down the BEST Mexican food !! Not only is the food awesome, but the service is great as well !! The owner treats you like family .. We go weekly .. I always look forward to it.. highly recommended!!!
Food was amazing, staff was friendly and consistent. We as a family have some picky eaters and all of us were impressed with the food. Loved the queso dip and their shredded chicken nachos. Also, personally I don't drink, but as a photographer the reflection on the tables from the bar lights were cool to me.
The food was great but the service from our waiter Nick was really bad. He did not have his mind on what he was doing. The ladies from the back had to help him out to get food to the tables. Maybe next time he will be better.
This had very good service and the food was amazing. I personally got the fajita quesadilla with chicken. It was amazing and I would definitely recommend.
