I went there with some close friends while my wife and I was in town on vacation. This was the first time at this restaurant for all four of us. We decided earlier in the day that would e the place that we would try for dinner. I read the online reviews which were typical, some good and some not so good. But none of the complaints were focused on a specific issue, which I look for while using online reviews as a decision maker. We arrived shortly after they opened and upon arrival we were seated right away. We were given the option to be seated inside or outside. We decided to dine outside. The staff was polite and the service wasn't bad at all. The only issues that we had was one; the waitress accidentally spilled soy sauce on the table and on my friend's wife's forearms and blouse, and upon wiping it up she accidentally spilled more, and two; the table was not level and the condensation from the beverage glasses kept running off of the table unto my friend and his wife's clothes. The upside was that all four of us agreed that our meals were all very delicious. Me and my friend both had the stuffed shrimp wrapped in bacon which was superb in taste and flavor. I thought the portions were fair as well. My friends wife had sushi which she raved about, and my wife who is vegan had the sushi veggie roll. She also agreed that it was very good. Collectively we all gave Chuck's Fish eight thumbs up. I would recommend this place to others who seek a fine seafood dining option.

Excellent service and very nice selection of menu items. A little pricey, but worth it for the very high quality product. We had sushi and a few of their imaginative drinks from the bar. Drinks were original and very good, sushi was among the best I've ever had.

Chuck’s was very busy when we arrived, service was still excellent and personable. Spicy Tuna entree prepared well, drinks were good, ambiance lively, comfortable. Next time we visit Athens I know where the first night’s dinner will be.

Great food, great service and great drinks. Don’t miss out.

Amazing food!

The food was not good at all not even a little bit. I'm a chef myself it wasn't season at all The service was amazing our server was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about the company and the food it wasn't his fault the food was bad.Needs more seasoning

Had the fried shrimp, fries, coleslaw and hushpuppies!!

Chuck's came highly rated so a group of us visited. If you are a seafood lover you may want to look at the menu because your options may be more limited than expected. They have a vast sushi menu. The atmosphere is great for socializing. (I was disappointed with the calamari. The taste was wonderful but cold. There were more fried "crumbs" than calamari.)

The food was five-star, amazing! Everything. The menu is big with lots of variety. We ordered several items and everything was delicious. The restaurant is VERY busy. We went on a Friday and the wait for a table was 30min. And they don’t take reservations. But you can get a drink at the bar, sit out front, and wait for your table. The service was hit or miss. Our server seemed overwhelmed, super busy, and kept forgetting little things (a replacement flatware roll, a cocktail order, etc.), but she was nice and fun. The bartenders were awesome, very busy but very friendly. The sushi chefs even greeted us when we walked in. The hostess was okay. The food runners were great. The biggest issue we had was the line for the bathroom. There are only two single restrooms for the whole restaurant, so there was always a line (going into the restaurant dining area), which had 4-10 people in it at all times = unless you’re prepared to wait 20 minutes, plan to hold it until you get home.
