1st time there. Hot dogs and hot dog chili were absolutely tasteless an unimpressive, hot dog chili is an art and this place doesn't have it, hot dogs were poor quality and tasteless, brisket was ok but it's a precooked product that is dry, sweet sauce was good but. Nothing original about this place, unremarkable at best.
My poor rating is exclusively for the Barbecue. This is NOT a barbecue joint. It's a hotdog joint that serves a few bbq sandwiches. And those sandwiches are not very good. My wife had the barbecue pork sandwich. Very little flavor and very little barbecue sauce. They put the coleslaw on top of the sandwiches and the coleslaw was probably the best thing. I had the beef brisket sandwich. It was shredded meat and I questioned whether they even smoke their own meat on site. It had a fake smoky taste and underwhelming in flavor.
Happened into this little place by happy accident, best lunch ever. Brisket is quite surprising for city brisket. Will be back soon
Good place to eat. They have very unique hot dogs. Their beef brisket barbecue is very good as well. They are a bit pricey, but the food is excellent.
Pretty sure the turkey salad, was tuna fish! Ordered both soups, which were SO greasy, and not very tasty. Coleslaw, was the best, just needed salt. 20 bucks worth of food and it wasnt worth it.
Why on Gods green earth would anyone put chili on Brisket or cover it up with all these fixings? Good brisket stands alone on its own merits. Brisket sandwich is pickles, onion maybe sauce. Any self respecting Texan would say the same. I tired a sandwich it was surprising good. I guess I just don’t get this concept? This would never work in Texas. Guess that’s why it has such high ratings here. To each their own!
This was our first time eating here, and the food was delicious! The service was wonderful, and the restaurant was very clean. Would highly recommend eating here if you’re looking for a quick and easy bite to eat!!
BBQ sandwich was delicious! I don't care for toppings on my BBQ so I opted for plain with sweet sauce. Large serving with no "junk" in the meat. Bun was freshly steamed. So very good!BTW.. the young men serving us were extremely helpful and polite! Will definitely be back!
We've eaten here twice now, and we love it! The Wilmington is the most creative and quite possibly the best BBQ sandwich I've ever had. The service is excellent, and it's a great value! I suspect we'll be regulars at Charlie Graingers.
WOW! We moved to Oconee County 2 years ago.This my 1st time in. It was DELICIOUS! I am from Texas and love brisket!I had a plain brisket sandwich(meat and bread)It was wonderful. Full of flavor and loaded with meat.I’ll be back.
