First time here and it was delicious! I got a wrap and I ate every last bite. My mom got a salad and it was good too. We loved the lemonade "bar". We liked that the drinks and foods had a clear calorie count for each topping/sauce.
Food is delicious if they have the food items in stock. Don’t go after 8:00 pm you will have fewer items to choose from. They have delicious fruit and mint blended drinks if they have them. I went at 8:30 Tuesday night and they were cleaning the drink bar up. Not sanitary while customers are still trying to get to the soda fountain.
CAVA gets 5 stars because finally, management must have spoken to their employees about being friendly and “customer service oriented.” Since their opening in August, my husband and I have dined in probably around 10 times and each time, the front staff have consistently been aloof. Yesterday around 11:15 am, we were greeted when entered; there were smiles; a staff member asked how we were doing; and attitudes were simply friendly and inviting. Staff were also responsive. What a 100% turnaround; KUDOS!As for the Mediterranean food, items are always fresh and tasty; however, portion sizes are not consistent. We typically go when they 1st open for lunch but be forewarned if you go early, sometimes all the food options are not available like the lamb meatballs. Also, for the 1st time, yesterday we were asked if we wanted pita bread to accompany our salads. The complimentary pita was good and it left us wondering if this was new OR had staff in the past, failed to offer it???We will be back more often now that service has improved. We now WANT to return. Thank you!
Update- I love Cava. I’ve been there so many times since the initial review, the food is great. My most recent time there, did not have the best experience, which is not usual for me. Not everyone, but a few of the staff this particular day were very rude and had 0 customer service. I hate to see things like this because I genuinely love this place and have never had this situation there. I know times are tough and people are over worked but kindness goes a really long way! I will be back because I truly enjoy Cava, but it definitely made me weary of this location and the staff I might encounter. Which is why I’m loosing a star. This obviously does NOT adhere to everyone working there, as I have never had a problem before.Delicious. Staff was so friendly. Food was fresh and absolutely delicious. 10/10 recommend.
Food is good, staff is even better. Athens has been missing a quick healthy option and I'm so glad that it's finally here. I got the pita with spicy lamb meatballs and it was delicious. Sauces are good too and I appreciate the wide variety of options.James, Leah, and Towanna brought this review to the 5 stars I am giving it. Extremely friendly and provided helpful suggestions on what spreads and sauces to get since it was my first time. Will be coming back for the food, but most importantly the friendly faces!
The food is so good and healthy. Very filling too. I was full after eating half of the bowl. You go down the line and tell them what you want in your bowl. All of the things that you put in will fill the bowl. There's meat and and there are lots of vegetable choices. You could choice just vegetarian if you like.It's a Mediterranean restaurant. Very Good
This place has went downhill since opening, the last three orders I’ve had, there has been some sort of issue. Issue today …. Molded lettuce, extremely slow staff & poor customer service.
Greeted right away by staff, restaurant is very clean, and the food presentation was nice. Very fresh, and tasty. 10/10.. Chipotle needs to worry about this joint
I have gone a few times since CAVA in Athens first opened. The service and quality has progressively gone down hill. My latest takeout order was pitiful— filling up a third of the bowl. A complete waste of time and money. Will not be returning.
