I got 4 steamed dumplings and 4 fried dumplings along with a large strawberry boba
I don't know what's causing it, but the quality of food from Bubble Cafe has markedly decreased in the past six months. My partner and I used to order Bubble Cage regularly - about every other week - but since January the food quality has plummeted. Multiple times after ordering a Poke Bowl, I've felt significantly sick. We also often will get the beef udon soups, but each time it's never consistent, and the beef with the soup will be gristly. Just now (6.4.22), we ordered Poke Bowls, and the mango in mine was very very unripe and the fish just felt off, and now I am once again feeling sick. We most likely will not be ordering from Bubble Cafe for a while after this, unless it's just the boba tea. The one thing they're always good at is their milk teas, which is what keeps us coming back. I hope they can figure out what's going on with the food though, because it's not good!
Bubble cafe is so cute and is one of my frequents in Athens. Their drinks are all very good (I love their snows!) and my favorite dish that I've gotten so far is the chicken katsu curry. Decent poke bowls (although the portion is small), and overall so many things to try that you can't go wrong. Love this place, highly recommend.
Very yummy boba and food! For the drinks, I recommend the brown sugar milk tea with boba. For food, I tried the fried tofu rice bowl, and it's really good! Also, the staff there are also super nice and knowledgable. I highly recommend checking it out when you're in Athens!
Bubble Cafe is the number one hangout spot my friends and I always go to when we want good boba and food. The cafe is so pretty and is so clean. I love their takoyaki and oolong boba tea. I love that their manager is so sweet and is always ready to answer any questions I have. I was afraid of not having any access to good boba in athens, however, I am so glad UGA AASA recommended them to me. It has been my number one place to go when I miss my hometown asian food and boba. I love Bubble Cafe so much!
This place is great! I love the people who work here and it's just amazing overall. There's some salty people who just review bombed recently but regardless, the only thing that's bomb here is the experience they provide! They are amazing!!!
Bubble Cafe is one of my favorite boba places to go on campus. Their service is excellent and their food always has me wanting more anytime I go. My personal favorite items would have to be the poke bowls, the takoyaki, and their signature milk tea. Bubble cafe and it’s management has also been supporting my organization, Asian American Student Association, all year long and they never disappoint. I always call in advance for a big order of over 200 items and it is always ready and packed by the time I get there. Excellent place to hang and chill!
In town for a bit and I just had to stop by this place to get my boba fix!! Not only is the place super cute, the staff are sweet as well! I got the Thai Milk tea with yogurt popping boba! So good! ✨
Their food and boba tea is great and is reasonably price considering the cute, novelty of it. The atmosphere was pleasant, the employees were friendly, and the food quality was excellent. Their food was better than some of the other Chinese food in downtown Athens and I thought it was mainly a tea place. I will definitely be back to try some more menu items and to get the cute bobba tea. Great place!
My favorite bubble tea place. I've been coming here for 4 years now and it's still delicious. I'm so happy they've been able to move to a bigger location right on Broad Street! Super well priced and just all around great. Their staff is really nice too and they're always happy to fix a drink if necessary
