The service here is phenomenal. My server, Kassandra Garcia is outrageously spectacular. She is kind, generous, and a hard worker! This girl deserves a raise!! Best server I’ve ever encountered! Definitely would recommend eating her thanks to her!
Barberitos is about a 10 minute walk from UGA. Ordering is done at the counter made-to-order style. Three choices for burrito type, recommend the spinach wrap. They are vegan-friendly. Be wary of the tofu if you can’t handle spicy; it’s a tad on the hot side. So many fixin’s to choose from: black or pinto beans; spinach; romaine; brown rice; guac; pico de galo; corn salsa; etc. Their cheese sauce on the side is a must. It’s mild, creamy, and just the right consistency. Kids meal comes with a cookie and a drink. Indoor seating is kind of tight but plenty of outdoor tables in the front. Off-street parking, too. The only complaint I have is with how management spoke to the staff. Xander took care of us. He was friendly, attentive to our requests and accommodating in spite of the fact that his boss was barking orders at him and finding fault with everything he did. Hopefully, when you go to this burrito joint, the manager will stay in the back where he belongs and line staff can do their job in peace. Staff, two thumbs up; management two thumbs waydown.
Just trying to get lunch before work at 3 in the afternoon. This location was closed and I drove to the downtown location and a lady locked the door as I walked up. Never going to barberitos again
Would be cool if y’all didn’t lock the doors 45 minutes before the posted closing time.

Great Barberitos, not in a fancy building as other ones I have visited (with wooden benches), but the service and food were great. My wife had a cheese quesadilla which was very good. Super chips and salsa which were free. I had a chicken burrito bowl that they made for me… I didn’t want to be bothered with all the decisions. It was the best combination of ingredients I have had. Super friendly staff that thanked us for coming. Adequate parking.
A real classic. Of all the barberitos in athens this one is the most consistent and its location is prime.
This barberitos is my favorite location usually! I have never had a problem with quality or quantity! But this time was completely different. The employees seems scrambled, they were running out of ingredients, and were pretty stingy with even the free ingredients. My partner got a bowl and only got a quarter of a scoop of beans and rice. The were pretty careless on making our food as well. If any manager is reading this I would really appreciate some sort of compensation for receiving only half of an entree. I will alway keep supporting this business and eating this delicious food. Thank you!
