Lost our to-go order. Waited over an hour for food. We try to support local, but we're done.Edit: It took 70 minutes to get our order. I called and asked to speak to a manager and I asked where our food was in the process of being made. The manager accused me of yelling at her, when, at no point I raised my voice. I asked direct questions regarding my meal - that's all. They gave us our food and refunded our money. Not even mad, just disappointed.
Bad experience. Alcohol beverages where never made for the table. A bone was found in the food. Beans and rice were cold. The manager wouldn't speak to the table. A member of my party was over charged for queso.Try at your own risk. The only good things about my visit were the people with me and the sweet waitress.
The rating is my hope. I live in the neighborhood. I eagerly awaited the reopening. I prefer to be outside, given the recent world circumstance. I have tried to go to the rooftop four times. I have not succeeded. This time, they told me it would be 40 minutes, there was nowhere they could offer me to wait that was in fresh air. I went around the corner and ordered a drink. By the time the drink was in my hand I got a text that my table was ready. I slammed the drink and I was back there 14 minutes from my first visit, but of course they had not waited for me (which I would not really expect). I cannot begrudge the beloved local their success. But I probably won’t go there, and if being outside is important to you, I suggest you don’t either.
While the updated building looks nice it’s still the worst service I’ve ever experienced. Unprofessional and so slow I could cook my own meal quicker and I can make something that taste 100% more authentic tasting. Go to Sr. Sol they have much better service and much better tasting food!
Pretty good food , no long wait time , good customer service nice roof top
Not the same Agua Linda that I knew. New Ownership. Have different attitudes and are not respectful. Went to enjoy the rooftop but had to sit through drilling the entire lunch....there was dust and noise and this is while people were eating. I was not offered a friendly gesture of acknowledging it is not the best business practice to be renovating while customers are present. The food was decent and the price a little high for the quality but the new owners...Bad attitude. Reply to Response: No the workers were on your rooftop working on additions to your restaurant. It was your walls they were drilling into on the rooftop.
We were from out of town and found this Mexican restaurant and it was rated very high so we thought we would get what we paid for. My friend ordered chicken enchiladas and rice and beans and there was about a spoon of beans and spoon of rice total. I got a taco salad and I bake better taco salad from the worst Mexican restaurant I've ever eaten in. It made me deathly sick to meet was nasty. I will never be back
Absolutely delicious and always amazing service. We're very lucky to have a bunch of good Mexican restaurants in Athens but this is probably the best. They are always on top of their game no matter how busy they are. Now with the rooftop seating especially at night it's just unbelievably nice.
The restaurant has been rebuilt and looks fantastic. The rooftop during the spring or summer is awesome. I will say to the baby mouths, do not get the house hot sauce. It is very hot.
Very good food on a chilly afternoon. Everything was seasoned well. Tried the new Chicken mole enchiladas and was quite happy.
