Me and my boyfriend came here to eat a light lunch…big mistake. Portions are HUGE, they definitely do not skimp on the quality and quantity. Prices are really reasonable. We came during their lunch special, and ordered the chilaquiles, tacos, and a chimichanga. I got full from just the free chips I couldn’t stop eating ?. Saving the rest for dinner. Hands down best place resturant in Athens.THE SERVICE THO I gotta say our server was so sweet and kind. I loved everything about this place.
Can I say that I am super picky and this is our favorite spot. Everything I try I like. Food is always fresh and the place is always clean. The margaritas are also very good. We’ve been coming here for years. This is a food destination if your coming to Athens.
We go here a lot and everything is always fantastic! Service is great (Manuel is our favorite server), food is great, and we always have a good time!
Athens has several better choices for Mexican food. Over-priced for what you get and you pay for every little extra. Service is slow. Took a long time to get food. Food was good but not great. Will not return.
Ordered take-out for our first taste of Agua Linda and had taco salad. Hands down, THE BEST this side of the border. Also enjoyed the poblano pepper cheese dip. My newest FAVORITE! Glad to know of this gem!!
Very mediocre. We came for lunch on a Friday, the wait after ordering was unnecessarily long for what was ordered. The lunch fajitas came on a regular plate not even with steam. Rice cold. Beans cold. Corn tortillas raw. And tamale wasn’t served in the corn husk. Service was slow.
We have always loved this restaurant, but the last 2 time we were there, sat in the same exact booth, and got bitten by some type of bugs. The first time, it wasn’t really an issue, could have been a mosquito, but the second time it was really bad! I feel like they may need to have that checked out!
Agua Linda is always delicious! I love the taco salad. The waitress was a little slow on this day, and we were the only people there at 1:30.
By far one of my favorite places to eat in Athens. Dependable service and the food is terrific and reasonably priced. Great variety too.
When we got there, we where seated and never received a menu. They never brought us one and we ended up having to google a menu. We waited for a good awhile for our food to arrive. Almost thought about walking out because it was taking so long. When our food arrived, we noticed how small the quesadillas and tacos are. The taco meat tasted like one of the McDonalds cheap hamburgers and the fries where also reminiscent of McDonald's fries. The staff kept sweeping next to us as we ate and one was going to leave broken glass in the floor until he has noticed customers where looking. Finally got our to go boxes and put waitress laid the boxes on our chips. Long story short, customer service was not good and the food was way over priced for the quality.
