I absolutely love 1785. I go there whenever I am in Athens and am looking to have a good time. The prices are amazing and service is phenomenal. If you are in Athens, you MUST check them out!
Definitely more of a bar than a restaurant, the food was good and they have weekly specials during the week. I saw a lot about needing to be dressed up, but we were overdressed for a weekday, the manager said that the dress code is more of a weekend thing when they are more of a night club. Super nice staff and the manager was a very nice guy also

Due to the discriminatory action of this place I wouldn't recommend it to anyone to come here I had to experience it myself last night. If you don't look a certain way before you enter you are not getting in. The same rules do not apply to everyone as others , it's a sad situation when you can't enjoy yourself when in town visiting and you have to take your color in consideration where you can go. So this is one of the spots that you might think twice before you coming.

So it is a a Saturday afternoon, I went together bathroom, came out to two security guards telling me I have to leave, didn’t even let me close my card out! I was in the bathroom texting on my phone! I have no clue what I did to get kicked out and no one will tell me anything! Worst place ever!!!
This is the same bar as Jerzees just a name change. The dj is unbearable and needs to learn to shut up, no one wants to hear him scream over the mic all night. I would pay extra to have him shut up.
This bar is the best bar in Athens, hands down. Staff are friendly and always have good drink recommendations. Definitely worth a visit!
Came down here to visit my girlfriend to wait in life for over 30 minutes then telling me I couldn't in cause my shirt was a black and plain, it was also nice material athletic fit. You can tell by the dress code who belongs here and who doesn't. Get new management please.
Me and my friend visited and long story short he was kicked out by the bouncer and the reason they said was such a lie it just sounded like pure discrimination. The manager who goes my mr miller is very hostile towards everyone and bans everyone he doesn't like. Had a bad experience do not recommend at all. Also the bouncers will push and shove you instead of asking nicely to leave. Needs better staff...
