Did a take away from Alpharetta location.. I still prefer the Decatur one for taste.. Tried Chicken Biryani and 65.. both were excellent though felt 65 had more color than usual and Biriyani was a bit spicier than usual.. although quality was great.. Had Matka Kulfi and Qurbani ka meeta as well.. Everything was excellent .. would give it 4.5 if I had the option.. Decatur is always a 5 for me.. will try other dishes here as well and update
When you have non Indians working in the kitchen you can't expect Indian or Pakistani style cooking. Non Indian labor is way cheaper. And so the food comes out like you'll say. Unfortunately it's what it is.Reply from them was not professional. Pay good chefs good money and improve. Cheap. People
Limited menu (no mutton options due to soaring prices) but it should be temporary. My favorite chili chicken and naan are available, so I'm ecstatic! The chicken biryani was also delicious and good quantity. I wouldn't be surprised if most of the negative reviews are neighboring Desi competitors. Just saying...And, yes, you must clean after yourself... Just like in Decatur!
First time trying Indian food and was recommended by a friend. I had Chicken Tandoori and Raita, both were fresh and tasty. Only change I'd recommend is signage saying to clean up after yourself, I'm OK throwing out my trash, but don't need reminded
This place needs to close down. Definitely worst Indian restaurant in Atlanta! Garbage food. The food was definitely old and stale! It’s a shame since it’s new and Zyka in Decatur used to be good! Very upsetting. I should have known where there was a single soul in the entire restaurant.
I highly encourage you to go anywhere else but this restaurant. I consider myself a reasonable person and this review doesn't come lightly. The food is not even closed to what they served at the Decatur location. This location serves STALE(nihari, the taste is different from the Decatur location), BURNT(tandoori chicken), UNCOOKED(naan) food. Also, when you pick up your order, make sure the box is not 1/4th empty.
Ordered chicken biriyani, dint taste good. Seemed like stale food. I have been buying from zykas' for 5 years..quality has degraded.matka kulfi had clay coming out and mixed with icecream...worst experience. Never again.
Very tasty. yummy. The only thing is I thought rice is included with the meal like all other Indian restaurants but learned later I should order it separately
If you are Chicken Tikka Masala lover then a must go to place, you will not be disappointed. I have tried Chicken Tikka Masala in many places and by far the best I could say is Zyka, closest taste to Delhi style.
AVOID this place. These guy’s do not even take the reviews seriously and improve. Kadhai Chicken? There are so many reviews on the quantity and the amount of oil in food, and still no change. The curry was floating in Oil. No rice on the side with the two curries ordered. The Chicken Biryani though tastes good, its a kids size quantity. Malai Kofta was just plain bad. Can just smell tomato puree in it, even a kid can cook better.
