We came here to get a bite to eat after traveling to Alpharetta from Tennessee & having not ate in 12 hours! We weren't greeted at all,& when we were finally noticed & acknowledged, we were met with such rudeness & sheer hostility!(The place was very crowded!).We were approached by a server & told in such a hateful manner by her that they were closed!!! She went on to say that they would reopen in 30 minutes. We should try back then. I replied back Ok, thank you. After being told about being closed, my daughter was searching on her phone for another location to go to & we were still standing inside & this same server lady motioned to me, raised her voice to me & yelled at me... you heard what I said!I replied; Yes ma'am, thank you & we left! This awful treatment was so uncalled for, downright rude, & was unnecessary!!!We'll never be back there!!!I will be notifying Waffle House headquarters.I strongly suggest to everyone to go elsewhere!!!Don't waste your time here!!!It was an absolutely, horrible experience!!!

We were so excited to see a waffle house within walking distance from our hotel room. Sadly, when we walked in the door we were met with a stifling hot dining room (I guess the AC wasn't working?) And the waitress informed us they were closed for the next 30 minutes. Very disappointing.

Only been there once. but not to eat. Was for a job position that according to Indeed they were "desperately hiring" for?? Well apparently they weren't and still are not, since i have applied yet again and have gotten no response, but maybe i just wasn't qualified enough to work at such a prestigious establishment as this...who knows?? But at least they do still serve good food, i guess?

Always had a good experience here. Look at the current state of the world. Imagine if you were in their shoes.Thank you Waffle House employees for grinding hard. I appreciate you guys. God Bless ?

I know it's tough finding good help these days so I'm not giving them a 3, but this was a tough night. 2 people working and neither of them wanted to be there. Heck, I didn't want to be there, but not much open at 1 a.m. Only counter seating, and half the place was shut down so very few spots to sit. The counter was FILTHYY and she didn't even attempt to wipe it off! Previous patron's dirty plate stayed on the counter for at least 20 minutes after we sat down. I won't get the sausage again. I thought I'd chip a tooth on the bones I kept biting into. Terrible experience and I won't go to another any time soon! YUCK!

After I was thinking of eating inside these two main cook and waitress ignored those who sat opposite of miscommunication and rude attitude I wasn’t pleased with the service, so I went to another one

Came here to place a order and was advised that the store was closed advised the waitresses that Waffle House is 24/7 per the website and every Waffle House I know. The waitresses were disrespectful and I felt discriminated against. I will be filing a complaint with the secretary of the state.

The food was great, but I can’t say the same thing about the service. When I went to the register to pay, my total turned out to be $15.50, so I’ve decided to leave a $.50 tip in order to round the total to a flat $16.00. The cashier has mistaken the 50 cent tip for 5 cents (even though I’ve written down .5 and left the total as $16). I’ve tried to explain to her multiple times that I didn’t do it as some kind of joke and I was genuinely trying to flatten out the total. Instead of listening, the cashier seemed pretty mad at me for no reason whatsoever.

Been here all the time, always been a 24 hour waffle house. But today, as a review mentioned before me mentioned, they kept their doors locked and wouldn’t open. They said they don’t open until 6am, but I showed them the picture (through the window) that their business hours showed 24 hours. The lady that walked over to the window responded that “we are short staffed”. I work at a restaurant myself. I know that regardless of how under or over staffed you are, business hours are business hours. The staffing doesn’t change those hours hardly ever in my experience—especially in chain places like a starbucks, mcdonalds, and even a waffle house. I didn’t want to argue though, so I just let them be.I should also mention i was the only car/guest there wanting to go in, and thru the window i saw at least THREE employees (could be more in the back), with one of them sitting at the high top/barish seating area fiddling on their phone. Call me crazy, but I don’t think 4:30-5:00am are crazy hours and at least 3 cooks should be fine…I don’t believe they were closed, because their business hours online haven’t changed, and if they have changed they need to be updated online. If there hours are actually changed now, then that’s fine, but I wanted some food before early work, and this was the only spot i could find close enough that was supposed to be 24 hours. I guess gas station food will suffice….Thanks Waffle House.

We were turned away and told take out only while multiple other tables had people seated eating. Unfortunately this is happening more and more often and its turning me away from waffle house in general.
