Had brunch with a few of my girlfriends. Initially the waiter was slow getting our orders but we got the food quickly. The owner Jose came over to check on our table and asked why didn’t a few of us order drinks. We explained that the waiter said they were out of mint for mojitos. He said he would be back w d sent someone to go purchase mint. He gave us mojitos on the house. He was very gracious for us patronizing his restaurant. Will definitely return. Great service and food!

JC, Chelsea, Angel, and Eduardo made my first experience here WONDERFUL! The food and drinks were delicious! Customer service was impeccable. 10/10 I would highly recommend to anyone! I had a great time! I’ll most definitely be back

The food was ok, with a lot of spinach in everything, which was new and strange to us. The server did not know English, so it was hard to understand and explain what was wrong with the food. The captain was courteous and knowledgable but herself acknowledged it was hard to convey what is ordered to the kitchen team as they do not understand English. We will not recommend this place or come back unless in an emergency.

Cleaning was not apparent. We arrived to a very dirty table with food and debris from the last guest. The table and floor was not cleaned. Food is substantially over priced and highly lacking flavor. Service was non existent. Some patrons at the bar area were getting out of hand and management kept serving them drinks instead of keeping order.

My company dropped in on a Monday afternoon for a team lunch. While waiting for everyone to show up, JC notice us gathering outside and came out to greet us and make sure we had a table ready when we all arrived! Once we got in JC greeted us at the table and took our drink orders, recommended a margarita (The best margarita I've ever had I must add), had hot queso dip and fresh guac at the table, then he explained the choices they offered for our large group, and the offerings each sounded incredible, Myself and a few others for the lava rock fajitas, to which JC explained the authenticity if it being served that way, gave extreme detail as too what ingredients were used and confidently exclaimed that the presentation was immaculate (Which it was) a few moments later the food was brought out and all of were floored by how gorgeous and aromatic the food was! The presentation lived up to the hype tenfold! not only was the meat perfectly cooked and tender but it was the most flavorful and the most authentic Mexican cuisine I've had this far east of the border. JC kept our drinks full and out stomachs full, but also our hearts, he is an incredible waiter but also seems like a very incredible person. I will 100% be back to see him and eat the delicious food and drink the very strong margaritas! Thank you JC and thank you Tarahumata for the best experience I've ever had out to eat!

This is upscale mexican food. You must try the porkchop appetizer. I've had the enchiladas verdes, nachos, mole, calamares, sopa de pollo....and neither disappointed. Last time, we had the chef's special, which included a large platter of shrimp, steak, chicken, pork, and this corn/poblano mixture that was amaaazing.Dessert is good too!

One table was occupied in the entire restaurant when we came in, and they refused to seat us anywhere except right next to that table for convenience of the staff. Apparently serving two tables 15 feet apart is an impossible task, even during a pandemic, and they decided they didn’t want our business at all.Had been a few times before and the food was just OK (probably 3/5) and the cost for chip/salsa refills is not a common thing elsewhere. Had not been for the aforementioned incident, I probably would go back occasionally, but now I never will.

Nice selection of tequila and the spicy pineapple was devine. Bit upscale with lots of regulars filling the bar.

It's an overpriced attempt at an "upscale" Mexican restaurant minus the quality component. Tortillas are overheated and hard. They should be soft and warm. They charge $2.50 for additional chips and salsa (this is unheard of anywhere else). The food was not bad at all otherwise, it's just closer to Tex-Mex than actual authentic Mexican food.

I would rate lower if I could - this place is gross. The waitress was great not her fault the drinks and food were literally foul. We got our check and were charged an outrageous amount for our drinks - yes, we checked the price on the menu before ordering … it wasn’t about the money it was about the fact the menu said $10.95 and we were charged $49.95 for 2 drinks. The manager was rude and completely denied that the menu should be the honored price
