I rate this place as a 4 I loved this venue for a small family place for dinner. Everything was very good. The seafood was very fresh and the service was excellent. I would give it a five rating except that I thought the sashimi was cut a bit thick. When eating sashimi in Japan, the fish was a good bit thinner.

Use to be a great treat! I don't know if they just don't care about takeout orders, or if it's gone down hill. I use to love their Ahi Poke. It had balsamic reduction, roe, soy sauce, radish sprouts, a nice portion of avocado and tuna chunks. It was a beautiful tall cylinder.Now it is a minuscule portion for nearly $20. No posted prices on line, so your shooting in the dark which feels like a game. Some people like to budget. And they must have been out of balsamic reduction, it tasted sweet, but very vinegary, like regular sushi rice vinegar, not thick, not pretty, very expensive. Always a favorite for over a decade. The Shannon at Maui roll is hands-down the best roll I’ve ever experienced. They have clear dividers up as protection and it seems to have cut down on the noise. Their sushi chef has been there for a very very long time. The wines are decent and we always love anything we order. This is our #1 sushi spot.
I have been coming here for years. Yesterday was not a great experience. We had a lengthy wait for some rolls. We weren’t informed why it took so long, however all the rolls were unusually warm. The rice must have been made recently, which made everything hard to eat… I expected better last night.
I have been here many times and was always happy with the food and service while dinning in. Tonight, I placed an order to go and added scallops as a side order. After being told there was an up charge of $16 I agreed never thinking that I would only get 4 small pieces of over cooked scallops!!

Sushi Nami continues to be our favorite sushi place! We've been going for 10 years and have always had a great experience, fresh sushi and great service. We especially love sitting at the bar when its just 2 of us and seeing the detail and skill that goes into each order & all the beautiful rolls. They've recently added new rolls, we've enjoyed the ones we've tried so far & look forward to trying the rest soon!
When I'm in the area, I can't help but go there. Great food, great service, great soups. My favorite are the salmon spoons which are NOT on the menu, you have to request them.YUMMY!!!
