Family loved the food hereThe special the day we had dinner was crab cakes and they were delicious with lots of crab meat and not too much breading

Visited out of town and decided to try this place because it had great reviews. We were not disappointed! We were a party of 5 and most of us ordered something different. Everyone one of our dishes were amazing! The fried chicken and cornbread were my personal favorites. Highly recommend!!!!

I dined here this past Saturday (2/19/2022). This place has a lot of potential. I'll start with the pros.Pros:Our waiter Sebastian was very attentiveThe atmosphere has great ambienceThe drinks were good. It's usually very hard for me to find a cocktail I like but Southern Passion was spot onThe deviled eggs were light, tasty and refreshingGreens are PERFECT!Three cheese Mac and cheese was okCons:Main entrees were underseasoned.I ordered the Apple Brined Pork Chop. You expect something that is brined to be full of flavor and that just was not the case here. Not sure if the thickness of the chop prevented the brine from penetrating inside but it was basically bland. When eaten with the puree and cabbage it was better but as big as the chop was there just wasn't enough puree and cabbage to enjoy every bite. It was disappointing as it was cooked perfectly! I had to take it home and doctor it up. The plating was also awkward. I burned myself on the Mac and cheese container cutting my chop. Who thought it was a good idea to sit those on the same plate and then put a napkin under it??My partner ordered the diver scallops. They too were underseasoned. Tasted better when ate in conjunction with the risotto. We also ordered dessert to go. I had the cheesecake and my partner had the flour less chocolate torte. Both were terrible. The cake was overcooked and the cheesecake flavor was just bad.The cornbread is not worth $6. It's pretty dense and dry.Overall, I maintain that the place has potential. I will return to see if it was just an off night or if the flavors just fall flat here.

Not a family dinner at all. Needed to ask for every little thing. Sorry this place was not our kind of eatery. All hard surfaces makes it increasingly noisy. SECRETO is more for late 20's mid 30's type of bar or a drinking date nightout which also happens to serve food. No happy hour offers. The Mexican restaurant next door was hopping busy by the locals if that means anything. The looked fun!

The food is on a high tier of preparation! They really put love and care with the way they make their food. I appreciate that they have a narrowed menu with the perfection they seek to put into each dish. I do wish they served more variety since I do not indulge in alcoholic beverage. If you are seeking a tasty meal (for occasion) this is a great spot! You will pay a good price when you come here but there is satisfaction in the meal. I am not a fan of alcohol but all that I had was tasty and prepared nicely ?. Enjoy ?

This is one of our favorite date night spots. Don’t waste your time getting anything besides the chicken. It’s a delight. The restaurant is relaxed and the service is great.

So glad to return to Secreto after an absence of several years and to find that the quality of their food is even better than before. My grandson had a beautiful plate of fried chicken, green beans, and 3 cheese mac with gravy on the side. I had salmon, brussels, and black rice. Excellent flavors! We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience and will return.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon, I ordered bang bang shrimp, shrimp and grits, and chicken and biscuits. All three dishes were delicious, moist, flavorful. I wish I ordered a bang bang shrimp to go I was really impressed with the crunchy texture and flavor. It came with 4 shrimp, but they were big shrimps which I'm very happy about.Parking? Plentiful in the lot.Price? Great for quality and quantity.Service? Attentive and very quick. Food came out fast too.Atmosphere? Casual, light, comfortable.Clothing? Casual, don't really need to dress up, but if u do it would be alright.Place? Classy, clean. Especially the bathroom, very clean.Would I come back? Yes.

Had the Southern Fried Chicken, and friend had the salmon. Both were delicious, and their Pinot Grigio is TOP! We did not have reservations, but were accommodated at the bar, which was comfortable, and the bartender was attentive and friendly.

There's so much to rave about! The ambiance and atmosphere were perfect, Sébastien made me feel so welcomed and special on my birthday, and the food is praise worthy. I will definitely be coming back again.
