This was my first time to this place and I really enjoyed it. I really loved the fact that they had gluten-free options which made my visit so much more enjoyable. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and very eager to make sure that my needs were met. They also honor military and veterans too!Seating was limited, as the roll-up doors were closed, so it was busier than usual but the atmosphere was good overall. Reminded me of shops in Underground Atlanta, but much nicer. Check this place out!
Great food, great service and great location. This place quickly became my favorite place to order food at the Halcyon after some less than great experiences at the coffee shop and hot dog place. The people working here were friendly and the loaded fries I got were spot on - covered in tahini, feta, and gyro meat and the fries were perfectly crispy and hot. Need to try more of their menu items but everything looks great and is reasonably priced.
Great food! Their garlic sauce is on point! Wanda’s customer service is excellent, she’s always very welcoming. Glad this place is at Halcyon!
First of all, the customer service I received from Wanda was top notch! She was VERY helpful and personable. If you happen to stop by, make sure you talk with her! We just moved into the area and this was our first stop. The food was amazing. Highly recommend the Shrimp Pita and the Cauliflower. Overall the entire experience was perfect! Definitely will be returning!
Everyone in my family got to pick where they wanted to get dinner from at Halycon. I unwisely picked Pita for my dinner. I ordered steak pita, but they were out of steak, which was fine. So, I ordered chicken instead. The cost of my meal was double what it should have been. As other reviewers have stated, they make the sides sound included, but then charge you and don't give you a receipt to let you know what they rang up. The lazy, unfriendly cashier couldn't wait to return to her seat to play on her phone without giving me any idea how to get my food without a name or number. The food itself was barely edible and my chicken was gray!! My stomach hurts and I just read that another reviewer got food poisoning from the chicken here. Seriously, this place is the equivalent of a Greek version of McDonald's. Do yourself a favor and eat from one of the other places here, like the Cantina or the hotdog place because the rest of my family enjoyed their meals from those places. I will never give Pita a second chance to possibly give me food poisoning.
My friend picked up salad and the greens were very fresh. Would typically give a 5-star rating, so why the low rating?Their prepared dressing is made with SOYBEAN oil (soy oil is not Mediterranean). And ingredients are not listed on the package. Please add your ingredients to your packaging and please consider using Extra virgin olive oil and please also consider using unbleached paper cartons rather than styrofoam. This would garner 5-star.We had to discard a salad because we avoid soybean oil for health reasons (see Dr Chris Knobbe on YouTube)
Had the best experience at Pita due to Wanda’s AMAZING service. What a sweet lady and very professional. The food was also great!!!! Thanks Wanda!!!
This was my first time at Pita and will definitely be coming back thanks to Wanda. The best chicken gyro and excellent service!!!
By far my favorite people that work here! The falafel and hummus was amazing. Shawarma was amazing. I’m not sure why anyone would give the food or service anything less than 5 stars. I will definitely be returning, for both the food and wonderful people
It was my first time trying PITA and I absolutely loved it! Wanda was amazing and helped me narrow down my choices around what I wanted. Everything was delicious and I’m so happy I found a new favorite spot! The food was excellent!
