First time ordered from the restaurant and it was amazingly good food.We ordered chicken and mutton biryani, chicken 65, fish and a chicken dish. They were all very flavorful and tasted fresh.Conveniently located right in the intersection of North point Parkway and Windward Parkway with ample parking. We will definitely order again and go eat there.
I was visiting Atlanta and tried this restaurant with family. In general food is good. We all liked appetizers but entrees are subpar. Tables are close to each other and we ended up sitting on the table right next to the entrance so it was bit odd to enjoy the food while people waiting at the entrance to be seated staring at our food. Probably restaurant management should NOT let people wait in that cramped area.
This is one of the best indian restaurant in Alpharetta. Food tastes good. All appetizers are really tasty and crunchy. We ordered hyderabad egg dum briyani, kothu parotta, appam with fish curry and appam with chocate chips on top. Everything was tasty. Appam was very soft and fish curry was yummy. I highly recommend this restaurant. Big parking lot in front of the restaurant. If you reserve it earlier you don't need to wait. Otherwise we do have waiting times over the weekends. We enjoyed our food.
The food tastes like a slice of heaven. The interiors are very elegantly done. The music matched perfectly with the amazing food and ambience!! Very hygienic and clean.Nalan is the Nolan of restaurants;-)Perfect for a family dinner, date night or friends dine out ♥️
Went here for the first time a few weeks ago, and we enjoyed everything we ordered! Our server recommended the Chicken 65 to start - the chicken was tender, had great flavor, and had a nice crisp on the outside. For the entrees, we split the ambur chicken biriyani + kal dosa with goat curry. The biriyani was very flavorful and came with a lot of chicken. The curry for the kal dosa came in a fun container + the kal dosa tasted great with the chopped red onion in the fold. We're not typically around the Alpharetta area, but we already look forward to going back the next time we are in the area!
Nalan is the best! I have been here more times than I can count and the food has continuously blown me away. Everything on the menu is delicious. You can't go wrong. It's become my favorite regular restaurant to go to. Highly recommend, especially if you are new to Indian cuisine. Anything you pick will be amazing.
#Nalan is such a gem! Everything we tried was excellent. The #1 dish was most definitely mutton chukka varuval. It's a dry roast mutton dish under appetizers but I recommend getting some appam as a side with it to enjoy the masala! We tried both the appam and iddiappam. The appam entree comes with two large appams! While they checked in on us for food, they never brought us more water, and we had to get up and grab more ourselves. Something to improve on!Overall, food was excellent and we can't wait to come back! Check out Nalan if you haven't yet - you won't regret it.
We have ordered chilli fish ?, chicken dum biryani, idly with sambar and chutney and egg kottu parota. Chilli fish is good well cooked, biryani flavors are authentic meat is well cooked, chutneys are good. Overall ambiance and food I would rate it as 4.
Been craving for veg kothu parotta.. it was delicious...one of the best rasmalai I ever tested ?will definitely visit again to try other dishes..
