The service here is always great. The food is just as great!! Everytime we come to ALPHARETTA: we dine at MARLOW’s!!
Excellent experience! I was in the area for a grilled cheese festival that was cancelled at the last minute. Hearing this, our waiter Matthew offered to prepare a special grilled cheese for us. Totally made our day!!
I came for lunch with a client and we had a couple drinks and some quick shareable food. It was pretty busy but the staff handled it well. I felt like our needs were met with exceptional speed and attention. It felt like we were the only people there. I had the seafood flat bread and it was very good! Will be back.
We love our Marlow’s! It’s an incredible destination that offers delicious and tasty dishes. They have a wonderful staff that makes you feel like longtime friends. Shrimp & Grits, one of our favorites. Shout out to Luke!
Every time I'm in Avalon I love stopping here for a quick bite or drink. Great food at a great price, and even better people.
This location gets super busy, so service can be a miss. However, if you look past that, it's still good bar food like you'd find at any other Marlow's. Prices are a tiny bit higher than other locations, but it's not outrageous. Don't count on bathroom access though. During dinnertime, the lines are obnoxious.
We have been to a few other Marlow’s Taverns. This one was a total disappointment. Our server never showed up. We had to literally grab a server from another table. The truffle fries which we’re supposed to be appetizer came with the food, which took forever. Both the truffle fries and the side fries were COLD. The budget was over cooked and almost burned ( we requested medium) . The service and the food were both terrible. Will never go here again.
Absolutely recommend the shrimp and grits with bacon! They do two seared grit patties, lots of shrimp and bacon in a wine sauce. We ate every bite. It was fantastic. I wish I had remembered to take a picture. Our server Melina was also fantastic. She was happy to be at work and very attentive. All around great experience.
Nearly $18 after tip, and when I got home and opened up the Poke Wontons I ordered to go, this is what it looked like when I opened the box. I never complain, but I will be ordering them from Yard House from now on. You get twice as much and better presentation there even with to go than you do here. Bummed!
Fantastic food and great service tonight too. Per usual with Marlow’s - you never disappoint. We had the smoked trout dip for an appetizer and it was so delicious. My husband almost always gets the shrimp and grits because it’s so delicious, and I got the grilled salmon and it was perfect - awesome flavor and perfectly cooked. Busy night but wait staff and cooks handled it perfectly. Our server Chelsea was spot on - friendly, efficient and thorough! A great night all around.
