We wanted some BBQ and heard this was good. I had the sliced brisket sandwich with fries and it was tender, moist, and freshMy wife had the pulled pork sandwich with fries and said it was delicious. She also loved the relish. Both the spicy and the sweet sauces were great, but we didn't try the mustard or vinegar sauces. Loved it and we will return.
Ok I'm going to be up front about my review. The three stars is a rating for anyone who has been around the block with BBQ. This place was not really anything special to me.Pros1. They hit all the checkboxes of meats.2. Good selection of sides3. Corn muffins were unreal goodCons1. Honestly they said they smoked the brisket for 12 hours but you can't really taste the smokiness much at all.2. The meat in general was just ok. The chopped brisket was super dry and didn't have much of the fat mixed in.3. For the amount of food you get it's a good price, but not for the quality.If you are a seasoned BBQ eater, this place was average for me. If your a beginner or fine with decent tasting BBQ then pay them a visit.
We are lucky enough to have this amazing restaurant right in our neighborhood. They have a lovely outdoor space, a great whiskey and beer selection, and reliably delicious food. The service is friendly and efficient, whether we are dining in or ordering takeout. We tried the tacos today and were very impressed with this new menu item! The ribs and pulled pork are our go-tos, and were incredible as usual. Thanks for another wonderful experience!
We went to this place after a long day this past Sunday. We got seated right away at a booth (they do have plenty of outside seating also available). It smelled so good in there, so I was already drooling! I ordered the BBQ brisket (marbled) and the hubby got that plus the pork. Outstanding flavors and texture on the brisket. It came with a chopped salad and a cilantro lime dressing. I was amazed by how delicious everything was. The little corn muffin was crazy scrumptious, I asked for another one. Great ambience and service. We'll definitely come back!!
The brisket melts in your mouth! Love the fries and the different sauces. Burgers are good too. The kids love the gameroom while they wait for their food. Good stuff!
First time eating at this restaurant, and pleasantly surprised in good way. Food was great, and the presentation also was excellent. Clean environment and a discount for military also help to give five stars. Definitely will come back. Highly recommend.
My pups and I love the cool weather and this place is amazing. They were so accommodating and the ambiance is inviting inside and outside.I read some of the reviews prior, this place does not advertise itself to be a low and slow/southern/dry rub-particular type of bbq...so read the menu. It's just good quality bbq they are trying to deliver. Stop trying to make it what YOU think bbq should be( there are many different types). If you want spicy, burn your mouth off...bring your own hotsauce.This place delivers flavor and work in their technique.The service is also great...Our bartender offered to turn on the heat for us...as well as other servers were friendly and attentive...needless to say besides the food being amazing, the drinks fresh and cool...we will be here again
Our server, Alex, was attentive and very friendly. Sarah (a server working nearby) was also incredibly friendly and helpful. The staff at Loyal Q was wonderful. When we approached the manager and shared our experience, she was very humble and we added that the food exceeded our expectations. Nice job!
Good space/layout, so people are not sitting so close that you hear the conversation at the table next to you like some other BBQ places. Friendly servers with good energy! Beer selection is limited but still a good variety. Really good BBQ at a fair price! I definitely recommend!
Have eaten here several times and enjoyed the food. However it all changed last night when we were there to eat. We order drinks (sweet tea) and we’re deciding on food. One member of our party looked into their glass of tea after drinking half of it and noticed something floating. He used his phone light to look inside and there were bugs floating in his tea. Not just a bug that has landed there but 6-7 bugs. It was so nasty. We showed our server who took it and came back with another glass. No manager came over !!! We immediately left the restaurant without ordering anything. It was so nasty. I have reported this to the health dept but who knows if they will follow up. I am sad because we did like the place but this made us sick and there is no way I can feel comfortable eating food from there.
