The owner needs to get back to seafood only. Had delicious and varied choices. Now it has lost its zip as a top notch seafood experience to an underperforming surf and turf.

The think that stands out the most was the service. She was knowledgeable, provided some great recommendations, and was quick to get us what we needed. The food was good. The steak was a little overcooked but still tasted great and everything else we ordered was delicious.
Lapeer is very loud - I am hoarse the day after from shouting at the 4-top with my friends. The service was ok. The steaks were over-seasoned and far too salty. The meat was delicious but overpowered by the saltiness of the rub. There are very few gluten free options.

Lapeer was great! This was our first time dining there and we will definitely return. The steaks were perfectly cooked to the temperature requested! Our server was fantastic and managed to give us great service despite the busy night.
We had a party of 5 and the ambiance was really loud. We had to lean over to hear folks on the other side of the table. The apps and entreeâs were good except for a lobster and pasta dish that tasted like it was made from Ramen noodles and a filet that was ordered medium rare was well done. It was sent back and it took 15 minutes to receive a new steak. Our reservation was at 7 pm and our waitress really tried to rush us through. All and all it was a very off nite for our evening. Hoping that this is not their new norm as we have had many great evenings there!
Amazing! Had a great time with friends here! The food was fantastic from the gratin crab and the calamari to the oysters. We also had the scallops, salmon, dry aged steak and the chicken. Everything was delicious and the service by Samantha was great!
