The food was utter garbage.Microscopic scallops for an appetizer, tasteless teriyaki, miso soup missing flavor. The fact that they give you a bottle of “ yummy yummy“ sauce should be a signal of the blandness about to be experienced.Add to that, an up charge of $3.50 for fried rice and the messsge is clear.This owner is not serving quality food, but has no issue in taking your money for garbage in return.
The Seafood udon ($13.99) had just ONE (1) shrimp, ONE (1) scallop, and ONE (1) muscle. Therefore the broth was completely tasteless, almost like having hot water with a bunch of udon for dinner. The scallop appetizer ($9.00) came with 6 very small deep fried scallops hiding in an oilly panko crust. FYI you can add almost $4 extra to your bill for choosing fried rice. First and last time in this restaurant.
Koko's is my favorite sushi restaurant in the Atlanta area. I know that there are fancier sushi restaurants, but the price, quality of fish/shellfish and location make for an easy decision when I crave sushi ?. I wish they'd bring lunch back, which was a casualty of Covid. They have numerous other Japanese dishes, so stop by soon. Everything is delicious!

This is one of my favorite places outside the perimeter. As someone who lives in the city I regularly drive to Koko just to feel that authentic mom and pop feeling. They always remember me and are the sweetest chief duo for miles. I genuinely feel you can taste the love in all the food they make. Authentic Don boxes and delicate care in their sushi are highlights of the menu. I highly recommend the Unagi Don and Agedashi Tofu!
Wonderful food and service. I primarily do take out - always easy, ready on time, and checked out immediately. Well packaged and easy process for pick up. Staff is always kind and helpful. Great quality and exceptional service.
Really great food, and everything can be made gluten free if you ask! They also have red bean ice cream which I hadn't been able to find at a Japanese restaurant since I was a kid. The staff is just lovely too.
