Our experience was honestly so awesome. It was my first time visiting a Korean BBQ, so the whole concept was new to me. Our server was training a new girl on her first day. He was so incredible honestly. He knew so much about the culture and really took his time to teach us how to prepare each food, and also took his time to teach the other server. I was truly impressed by him. I visited on 4/25, I forgot his name so I hope that's enough for him to get recognized because seriously he made a huge impact on my experience!

This is the best iron age location I've been to! Probably the only one we'll go to from now on! The portions were great! The proteins and sides were fresh. Unlike a lot of Korean BBQ, this one has excellent ventilation! We didn't smell like a grill for the rest of the day! Service was on point as well! I highly recommend!

Ate 1 March 2022 at 7pm.Few thoughts to improve the experience:1. Do not place the open containers of dirty dishes in the open dining area. It creates a bad odor an is not sanitary. I know space is at a premium and expensive at Halcyon but there is a better way.2. Clean the shrimp first. Cooking them with shells and heads on and with veins intact may be traditional but is not customer friendly when no proper cleaning can be done before eating.3. $81 before tip for 2 people and 1 glass of J Lohr chardonnay and a draft beer is not reasonable. $29/person. I fully understand prices are up but ~10 oz. of protein we had plus salad/accoutrements just does not justify it. I also understand that it is all you can eat but at the pace it is cooked and served you are full long before the quantity would justify the price. My opinion is pricing is about 15% high.It wasn't a bad experience but I am confident the ownership is seeking a higher level of satisfaction.
Took my special lady here for a surprise V-Day dinner. We enjoyed the atmosphere and great service. They have some interesting drink names and I got the “It takes 2 to Mango” which was delicious. The food is unlimited with a long collection of meats so be sure to come hungry! If you haven’t experienced Korean Barbecue before just a heads up that each table has their own grill and you are expected to participate in making sure the food doesn’t burn. Definitely a fun time and recommended
Great place for a nice family outing. Our waiter Madison was really helpful and courteous. The food was great, but just watch the grill as it will get cooked very fast.
My significant other and I, after being invited, enjoyed a very unique experience last Sunday at the Korean BBQ Restaurant, “IRON AGE” in Halcyon. Not only was the steak ? selection, (recommended to us), of the highest quality, but it was seasoned beyond anything I can compare it to. Our server was wonderful and very attentive to our needs and questions. With the pre-chosen meat and/or veggie selections cooked in a small open grill set within the center of each table, you can easily select how rare or well-done you favor it. While I’m not much of a steak consumer, I have to say that every bite was simply delightful! Loved all the optional sauces for dipping! You just have to try the Steamed Egg ? side!
Overall, excellent. The food was fantastic, the wait staff handled our party of 6 well. I had to knock off a star as they decided to randomly dim the lights pretty hard, which made it more difficult for us to tell when the pork steak we were cooking was properly cooked. Definitely get here early to avoid the wait, because the wait can be pretty brutal as this location is smaller than the others.
