Friendly people and good service
We had a team lunch here for someone's birthday. Although I made a reservation because of the size of our group, we probably didn't need to because its not super busy during lunch. Which results in more attentiveness from the staff. The food was AMAZING!! The service was GREAT! Definitely will choose them over the other place across the parking lot!
This restaurant is one where cooking the food is a show, right in front of you on the grill. Our fun chef had the food we'd ordered ready to put on the grill, but he first cleaned it and made sure there was a huge fire - expected at this type of restaurant. We were celebrating a birthday, so chef was sure to include special cooking and tossing experiences for our 18 year old. The food was delicious, cooked perfectly. Before the meal is served, the waitress brings soup and small salad. This part felt a bit rushed to get on with the meal. It was a fun experience for our family of 5.
A unique experience for someone not used to this kind of restaurants.Out cook was very friendly and made you enjoy the whole process.
The food was good but our waitress made us feel like we were bothering her! She rushed the entire process of seating us, refilling our drinks, and replacing a soup for the salad that we initially ordered.
Had dinner here Tuesday night. Love this place, the Sushi and Hibachi are always consistent. If you are in the mood to celebrate and have a good time this is the spot. Fantasy, Top Gun and the Pokémon are the best rolls !!
We chose ichiban for date night a couple of weeks ago and we waited more than 25 minutes at the hibachi table, it wasn’t even crowded! I think they were waiting to fill the table but no one passed by to ask if we wanted anything else. Hibachi chef wasn’t happy because we were the only ones, hey if you don’t want to give service to only one party say that you can’t instead of making us wait. The food was good but service and management needs to better their game!
Just left the restaurant. I always come here and use to love it, brought my friends it was basically empty it took 20 minutes to get an order in. Waitress was not friendly never came to fill water or check up in anyway. We ended up unsatisfied and barely saw the waitress at all. While we left she ran after us after we left the building telling us we did not tip enough?? we had 3 checks and we put the right amount of tip on two of them. I called the manager right after the shock and she basically told me she was ok with what the waitress did. I use to always come here never again. We did nothing wrong or weren't even in a situation where we didn't give proper tip but we were definitely accused of “not paying them enough”. I am not going to give %30 tip to no proper service. I hope they find a way to get proper management for servers and make sure they don't run after their customers claiming they were not tipped enough, i don't go running after them to get proper service! I barely even saw her honestly i always respect waitress and how they get paid but we barely got any service at an empty restaurant and we still gave tip. Never again.
Round Two for us at Ichiban. I think Ichiban is quickly becoming our go to sushi spot. Tonight I went for the Spicy & Creamy Scallop sushi side, with there MOO sushi entree. The scallops had a nice texture and heat that wasn't overbearing. The entree was made with steak, shrimp tempura, scallions and spicy ponzu. The spice heat from the ponzu built with each bite. I'm a lightweight when it comes to spicy foods, but I'm tryin ?. I thoroughly enjoyed each bite. We arrived just after they opened at 5pm today and we were able get a table quickly. Our server was prompt and friendly. Appetizers and entrees came quickly after ordering. We will definitely be back. ?
Loved the venue, very efficient and polite staff. Food was beautiful and delicious.
