I actually thought Salata was the restaurant at this location, but remembered it was a Gusto when I arrived. I decided to try it anyway and was very pleasantly surprised. Since it was my first time, the man working there was very patient and offered some suggestions. I ordered the sweet soy sriracha bowl and it was delicious!!! The restaurant was clean, and I felt very comfortable eating there. I rated the restaurant four stars because I didn’t find the rest of the staff to be very friendly. It’s interesting that I noticed they gave everyone a warm and enthusiastic welcome when they entered, but were completely silent when I walked in. The lady at the cash register was a little rude as well. I’m looking forward to trying the Roswell location closer to my house.

Friendly staff with warm greetings on entry. Nice and quiet time to enjoy your lunch with a lot of sitting room. The Chipotle Mango Avocado Grilled Chicken and Shrimp was delicious. The guacamole carried the whole meal on its back. The chipotle sauce was a nice touch. Not strong enough on flavor to overpower the food. Just the right touch. Will go back again.
I tried What's Your Gusto at the Avalon for the first time today and had a great experience, The staff was friendly; food was prepared quickly and it was delicious. I had the Chile Sesame BBQ, half brown rice/half mixed green bowl with shrimp. I thought the price was reasonable for the amount that I received. I will be back.
Amazing! The seems like the owner has been there every time I have visited. Love the concept. Food is amazing. Quick service yet you can hang around and visit after dining. One of my true destinations when going to Avalon.
I've had two disappointing interactions with gusto. The first we used them for catering for our work party. They showed up an hour early with the food. It was not warm by the time we got to eat it, not we're we there to receive it. Then when we called to complain. They said they would call us back and never did. The second experience I had I ordered online. I had paid extra for avocados, but they left them off. I didn't realize that til I had driven all the way home. I emailed them about it, and they never responded.
Went there for the first time on a whim and I was impressed at the quality and quantity of the food. Fair price for fair portions and it tastes good, can't ask for much more. The sweet potato chips on the side is a much appreciated bonus.
Gusto is a cute place situated in Avalon! Their menu is really amazing for someone looking to eat a bowl with versatile ingredients. Definitely going back!

Hoping the managers or owners of Gusto Avalon see my review, as I am a fairly frequent patron. I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of this location as the floor was covered with pieces of food and other items and all the vacate tables hadn’t been wiped down except the one we sat at. In addition the ladies bathroom had no toilet paper. The food is always consistent and good, so no complaints there, however…when the restaurant seems this unclean I also then begin to worry about food prep and if the proper protocol is being followed. I will give this location one more try, but won’t eat if it looks surety when I walk in this time.
