Quaint little gem of a wine bar located in the heart of Avalon in Alpharetta.The bartender was amazing and fun (sorry I forgot your name!)Filet Mignon cooked to perfection so don’t just go for the wine.
We had a wonderful time at CRU. The lady who waited on us was knowledgeable in both wine and food items; as a wine connoisseur thats much appreciated.The weather was nice, the service was prompt. All in all it was a great time.My only complaint and reason for 4 ? instead of 5 is that the price was a bit high considering the portions that were received. Still no real complaints though.
A fantastic selection of wine and flights available, not to mention delicious charcuterie and assorted foods! Great for a casual night out, hanging with friends or a date!
First time guest and I'm not sure I'd go back as much as I would want to. Maybe they'll get a second chance in a few years when hopefully there's a new crew. Food was good but we got all kinds of substitutions that weren't presented on the menu. Things weren't as described. Young, new waitress was basically like "oh yeah we're out of things, I'm sorry" and didn't know what to do. Manager lady (I'm assuming cause she had on the purple suit) was basically wrapped up in her duties walking back and forth and sweating with a frown, but not much else. I hoped she would ask about our experience but never did. Cool concept. Weak service. Good food. But not what we ordered. Lacking leadership.

My wife, family, friends, are treated like family here. The bartender learned of my taste in wine and took us on a journey of wines we loved. I came back two months later and she remembered our names, who we are, and what we had. She made certain we were seated as soon as possible and told us she found new wines we would love. We loved the atmosphere she, and really everyone who worked here gave us. Wish I remembered names as well as she does! Cheers to her, and this fun place to meet, eat, and drink! We will be back every few months when we are in town.
A great place to grab a glass of wine and a bite to eat. Food is good, sole of the wine is great! Sit at the bar, indoor and outdoor tables. Rooftop on a warm day is the way to go!

My boyfriend and I were looking for a little wine and appetizers while shopping at the Avalon shops. CRU turned out to be perfect! We walked in and sat at the bar, no waiting. The bartender was awesome! She recommended a great wine so we got a bottle. We ordered their charcuterie board. It was perfect and delicious! We will definitely be back!
