We were there for dinner and wanted to be seated at the patio. It took about 20 mins. We got a high top and started on the drinks. I had a margarita and they have it on the rocks only, which works for me. Margarita was tart, sweet and everything nice! Husband got beer and friends for vodka tonic. All the drinks were just perfect. We got queso and hummus for apps. Queso quantity could have been more given the amount of tortilla chips. However, both are great. We had entrees, desserts and coffee. Quantity and quality was just phenomenal. Ribs were fall of the bones goodness. Mmmnnmm.... Apple crisp. We will be back.
I visited the Crabapple Tavern on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. My dinner was Trout Almandine. It was deliciously sauteed, on a bed of green beans and surrounded by mashed potatoes. The service was attentive, friendly and efficient. My glass of Jack Daniels, on the rocks, was filled to overflowing, in a glass too big for one hand. The guests are friendly and fun. I'll always go back.
This place offers a really good balance of a delicious and varied menu, great service, good atmosphere, and fair prices. Bringing the family here is always a good time and never disappoints. The fish tacos and pork chop dish are two of the stand outs.
Surprisingly enjoyable given its location. The food was quick, delicious, and better per dollar spent than anything you'd find downtown. NY Strip Steak and Flat Iron Steak were delicious as expected, but the side dishes had just as much thought/care put into them as the meat itself.I would definitely go again and recommend it to anyone in the area.

Hot dog & fries should have been cooked more. Hamburger was ordered medium- well , came out rare - told waitress , and she stated that would just take that one already eaten off of and make it medium well- What happened to HEALTH CODES !!!
I've dined there 3 times in the past month. They were very accommodating for our large parties. The service was on point and very friendly. The food was delicious. I've had the bacon cheeseburger and fries, quesadilla, and the San Diego Fish Tacos. All were excellent. My fave was the Tacos. As a matter of fact, not one person in our group was disappointed in their meal. It's a great local dining experience and highly recommended.
