Our waiter was superb. We had the meatloaf special, the chicken egg rolls, and the Sunday at it was outstanding. Highly recommend
Amazing date night! My husband and I went to Coalition on a Friday evening. The place was full but not overcrowded or so loud you couldn’t hear each other. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean. They have a great selection of drinks; my husband drinks non alcoholic beer and they even had a few of those to choose from which is rare. For dinner, I got the Cobb salad with grilled chicken and my husband had the spicy chicken sandwich with Brussels. Our entrees were delicious! The portions were larger than normal and the food was so fresh. Our waiter was attentive but didn’t come to our table every 3 minutes to ask if we needed something which was nice. We will definitely be back!
They had excellent food, and a great staff. Would certainly recommend.
We look forward to special restaurant week menus annually. In the past, food has been great. This year's menu looked tasty but execution was not as delicious as in the past. The BBQ chicken egg rolls were heavy - from the dough wrap as it was thick and held frying oil. The spicy chicken sandwich looked nothing like the photo. It appeared to be dipped in hot sauce - not crispy at all - and because it was super hot, there was no evidence that buttermilk was involved as either a brine, marinade, or batter. The teeny tart of chocolate pie was bland. The whipped cream was thin and lacked fullness from fat which is present in heavy whipping cream. The chocolate tasted powdered and the crust was hard enough that when trying to cut into it, the crust broke into pieces, scattering across the small plate. Ambience was bit spoiled by the two whiny, crying kids in the restaurant. Overall not C&FB's best was not present this year.

Convenient place to grab a nice meal with friends..group friendly. Emphasis on mixed drinks/beers & brief food choices, but solid.
