I just love this place for so many reasons. It's just an amazing hangout place for any reason whether with friends, on a date or by yourself. Menu is vast so I can always try something new and everything I've had has been top notch. The great atmosphere and the consistency between every single location I've been to has been grand.We simply stopped in here for coffee and dessert. They have some really incredibly authentic European desserts. They really don't taste any different than what I've had in European cafes and the coffee has always been very well done.This is just simply but a great place to go at any time for any reason.
The small Cafe Intermezzo is loaded with ambience, with dark panelling, old world style ceilings and light fixtures, very warm and comfortable. My partner and I were there for my birthday. We ordered Crossings Sauvignon Blanc, which was excellent. She ordered the French Dip on a Ciabatta roll, which she said was excellent, a side of sliced tomatoes in balsamic glaze, and a side of au jus, exceptional because it was rich but not overly salty. I ordered the Croque Monsieur, and although it was good, I felt that the slices of bread were too thick, the bread was too soft, and I would have liked it passed under a broiler or torched in order to lightly brown the Mornay sauce on top. The service was excellent.
The food was delicious! I got their amazing warmed baguette, with hummus that had olive and mushroom on top. I also had a hot chocolate that was rich, creamy and it was really really good. For dessert, I had the raspberry chocolate mousse cake. It was layered and soft and filling and made me feel connected to the space like I was in another world. The atmosphere was so warm and beautiful and I just kept looking around. It's like a visual treasure hunt! The vibe inside was very chill, calm, and cozy. The staff was very nice and the other diners were friendly and seemed to be enjoying themselves as much as I was. I met Ms. Joy, who is the Regional Manager, which I think is a super cool job. Ms. Karen whose nickname is also Big Mama, was so nice!!! She took great care of me and my family while we were there, and had such great, big, positive energy. Cafe Intermezzo totally struck the balance between cozy and open, fancy and familiar, and comforting and exciting for me. Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Olson for a wonderful experience!!! - B!
Extremely busy location. The menu and taste very consistent with other location. Great staffs and quick service.
Has a good selection of Teas and Coffees and Cakes. Decor is Italian inspired with interesting props. Nice place to spend time.
This place is lovely for brunch. It is still gorgeous and we just had the table right by the front door. The cafe intermezzo coffee had almonds and was delicious. My friend got the smoked salmon eggs Benedict which looked lovely. I had the avocado toast. Although my eggs were kind of dry everything else was tasty. I would love to try this place again. The atmosphere is really so romantic. The wait for a table was over an hour so be prepared.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch date! Great food, great service and nice ambiance!
