Not good experience. Except the decor nothing is tempting. Certainly not the food. We went there in group of 3 and were given 2 set of cutlery. I myself had to get up to get napkins from counter and get another set of cutlery from side table. Food we ordered was paneer makhani and garlic naan. Paneer makhani was like tomorrow ketchup with paneer as it was that sour. Complimentary rice was the poorest quality of rice I have eaten in entire US so far. The appetizer which they claimed their speciality was crispy vegetable corn triangle cvct was a dish created by mistake it was nothing but a fancy name and different name given to cheese balls and was okay but the green chatani was soiled and felt like was made days ago. I was disappointed by overall experience and wont be returning anytime soon.
They charge $3 extra to add the sauce for the 2 samosas you already paid 6 dollars for. Also, 90 mins is crazy long for a delivery time. Rip off. Find better quality and better prices easily
Loved the food and the quaint atmosphere. Be careful to ask the right level is spice in your food form 1 to 7. Garlic naan is awesome together with land or goat dishes. Will go back asap.
Went there with my parents and had a terrible experience all around. We ordered lamb rogan josh and paneer tikka masala. The rogan josh was alright but instead of paneer tikka masala they gave us paneer makhani which was ridiculously sweet. We know indian food pretty well and definitely can tell the difference between tikka masala and makhani. When we politely asked the waiter to see if they made a mistake he basically refused to acknowledge they brought us the wrong dish and instead tried to convince us that this was in fact paneer tikka masala. It would’ve been fine if they just either admitted they brought the wrong dish or even offered to fix it but instead the waiter was rude and ignorant. The food was also not fresh. The best part of the meal was that the bus boy was actually nice and brought us drinks and silverware quickly.
I was at Bombay flames. Had a very bad experience. I ordered paneer tikka masala and got paneer makhani instead. When asked the server to make sure with the chef , he came back and said it is actually tikka Masala. The server seemed to be rude as well. Do not recommend to go to this restaurant.
This is a charming little restaurant. It features a rather classic vintage english furniture with beautiful painted stained glass all around the restaurant. I observed a busy little family working hard.I ordered an assorted non hefty non veg appetizer. Portions are very fair, then a palak paneer and a butter chicken with some naan. I had plenty of left overs :)I believe I found a nice quiet little placePs. Dont forget the cheese naan ;)
Orders butter chicken takeout. Chicken was obviously tandoori chicken from the day before. It was dry and overcooked. They took the easy way out on a take out order. I am not upset by using food wisely but in this situation it was a fail.
when I opened my food, it looked like maybe it was left overs which were stacked quickly. It didn’t look fresh at all. It was my first time ordering but definitely my last. I did like the sauce they packed for me as a side but the rice was not good.
Top Indian restaurant in town! I always get the Coconut Curry and Tiki Masala. The spice level is pretty high so even the zero level of spice has a bit of a kick to it. I always order takeout and they have never gotten my order wrong.
What an absolute gem of a place, this is our second time to this restaurant. The butter chicken is to die for. The nan bread is absolutely amazing! This will definitely become one of our permanent fixtures
