Finally had a chance to visit this place and I loved it! First time having pork Katsu since 4 years ago and I'm so glad it was from here. The pork was quite well cooked and seasoned, super crispy and delicious inside. They dumpling was a really nice touch, crunchy and flavorful. Rice was tender and the veggies were okay too.The only thing I did not really like the traditional Katsu sauce in combination with the meal and I wish there was a little more rice.Other than that, the area was super cozy and cute, service timing was reasonable!I definitely have to come back and try other dishes and sauces and hopefully update to 5 stars!Update: I went to try the Bang Bang sauce and it was amazing. Went super well with the katsu, rice, and even the dumpling. Finished it so fast that I felt bad not having any left! Really recommend the Bang Bang sauce!
It’s always nice to see a variety of food provided here. When you are eager to eat some authentic Asian food instead of Panda Express next door, then you can try here, not bad. But it’s kinda like wait forever to wait for a meal. The most thing I can’t accept is that employees use their hands to handle meals without wearing gloves (ex. use hands to grab salads or frozen fries) after cleaning customers’ finished plates or after checkout. All in all ends a very disappointing experience.
This was my first time trying katsu of any kind, so I didn't know what to expect. I certainly didn't expect that a simple piece of fried chicken could taste so good. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the bang bang chicken katsu plate with the spicy sauce. Not only was the chicken itself incredible—perfectly crisp and tender, but the sides created a perfectly balanced dish. I'm excited to come back and try more menu items, as well as the amazing-looking drinks and desserts! In addition to the food, the atmosphere was very pleasant with a spacious and comfortable seating area, and the service was speedy and attentive.
My knowledge of Bang Bang Katsu House was by takeout and delivery. To be honest, I haven't written anything until now because it didn't really do it for me. Having had a chance to actually eat there, I have to say, the katsu is pretty good when it's right out of the fryer. With the recent addition of ramen, I had to go try it. Given it's not the usual place you would go for noodles, I know the game... so I set my expectations low and prepared myself to be disappointed. What disappointed me was they didn't disappoint me, I guess. I just got the plain ol' tonkatsu ramen. I didn't want it hidden in spicy heat or toppings. It's not on the level of Ramen Bar, but for something that I'd say is close enough to be neighborhood, it's a good find. The broth is creamy and rich, the noodles had a good consistency. Wash it all down with a good milk tea!
Nice place! I had the bang bang plate and the spicy sauce. It was tasty. The pickle they provided tasted totally different and tasty, I asked for more. I would go back again.
The staff, scenery, and presentation of the entire vibe is amazing. I really did not expect the amount of flow this place could have sandwiched between the veteran restaurants of the area. The signature sandwich was expertly crafted, everything is just great.
Quite good. I lived in Korea so I was comparing it to what I had there. Fast service and a very cute atmosphere inside. I would come here again.
I had the hamburger and it was awesome! Not what I expected. This was a blended beefsteak with light panko topped with a tasty slaw and sauce. Reminded me of country fried steak but lighter and less dense and not chewy at all. Calling it a hamburger is a disservice. We also had the fried mac n cheese bites and the chicken katsu. Everything was very tasty! I definitely recommend this place.
Great flavors ? ? ? Friendly staff too!
Was amazing. Got the fire spicy ramen level 1. Was warm will have to try the next level when I come back.
