We love it. They have many vegetarian option. Food quality is quite good. Avalon is a place where you can go any time. They have inside and outside sitting arrangements so whatever is your choice. They back pizza in wooden oven so its like you will feel freshness. I love calabrian pepper. They provide garlic, crushed pepper, whole pepper, chilli oil and parmigiano as complementary. Pizza size is quite enough for 2 adult. For reference pizza pic attached its margherita d.o.p without any additional toppings.
Authentic oven pizza, thinner crust but not brittle or crisp. Good choices for beverages and hard to find Peroni. The pizzas on the menu are very flavorful and thought out. Highly recommend eating in and bringing a party of 4. Seating is a little limited so best to split up and while someone orders someone else looks for a table.
The worst pizza ever burnt pizza very soggy raw sausage and very rude staff. I ask to have general manager to call me and was told no and not to call again. Please do not go to this place
My favorite local pizza by far. Doppio zero flour and higher quality ingredients in an authentic napoletana pizza.
This location has very limited seating. If you plan to come to this location with a large party of people, I suggest calling to make a reservation. One good thing about this restaurant is that it is essentially self service after you place your order, limited employee/customer interaction is a plus for some people since covid. The only other time you will have an employee come to you is to deliver your pizza.
It's simply the best pizza in Georgia. Nestled in the luxurious yet cozy Avalon, this place will make you want pizza everyday. Afterwards, grab some gelato right next door and enjoy the fountain show with the family!!
I’ve never seen better service in my life. A busy Friday night and I still got my pizza very quickly. Coming back here for sure. Recommend this to everyone. This pizza was 100 percent worth the price.
Georgia’s BEST pizza in my opinion. This place has been on my radar for years, ever since I saw it on TV I’ve had it on my list. Through chance and tough change we now live in Georgia so you know we had to stop in. This style of pizza is my favorite (although I love them all) so to say I agree with those who rate this as Georgia’s #1 pizza would be an understatement. We definitely didn’t need two pizzas, one is enough to feed 4 people so we have lots of leftovers ?. I got the margherita and my wife got the San Gennaro and to they were out of this world delicious. The margherita is classic Buffalo mozzarella with basil and olive oil, the Gennaro is Buffalo mozz, sweet peppers, sausage and caramelized onions and mmm mmm delicious. This place also has an Italian coffee and desert shop right next door and don’t even get me started on the freshly filled cannoli’s made to order, O…M…G ?. If I ever ran in to a genie, one of my wishes would for this place to be closer to me, although it may not be a good thing for my waistline. Sorry the pictures aren’t great, I couldn’t wait to dive in.
We came to Avalon for the super charger. Pizza was as good as the original. The crust is heavenly. It's like there's not a pandemic going on in this place though. No staff and very few patrons wearing masks at Avalon.
Pizza was ok…could have served 3 people. The crust and sauce were ok. The sausage was flavorful. The cheese was ok. The salad was fresh but the dressing was sharp and way too much garlic and salt. There is NO service. Basically you order at the register and you’re on your own from there…you get your own condiments, beverage from the cooler, napkins and utensils from a rack. Why do they think they should even ask for a tip? Very overpriced!$
